Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey guys! I am currently looking to get a new bike & considering NS200. I have a few questions though:
1) Whats the fuel efficiency of NS 200 - as per feedback it varies from 30-33-40 kmpl
2) How well is it suited for talelr people - I'm 5' 10"
3) What would you say are the pros & cons of the bike
4) Is the exhaust low or high, as sometimes I have to drive through waterlogged roads
I am looking to upgrade from my 2008 Honda Shine, what i'm looking or is - 40 kmpl, comfortable, peppier bike that can handle city traffic + cruise on 90-100 kmph. I was initially considering P180, but my cousin advised me for NS 200. And I do agree it has good vfm & snappy performance.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards

Even same happened with my bike, tune the carb to optimum mixture if it is running rich mixture, clean all the spark plug maintain correct tyre pressure 30-32PSI Rear & 24PSI Front, clean air filter, If the problem still persists then do valve clearance from bajaj SVC. Ride safe.

Switch to motul 7100 20w50 Full Synthetic engine oil, if your are running on stock bajaj dtsi oil (mineral oil).Originally posted by Hunterkol View PostFuel maybe? Or residues in the fuel tank? Petrol filter can also be a reason. Not to forget, water can seep into the sparkplug connectors too. Did you change the air filter?

Can the RS200 exhaust be fitted on AS200/NS200? If yes, what will be the cost?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello guys,Originally posted by faffy View PostHello guys, I need some expert advice here. I have July 2012 NS, and off late I am facing this weird handling issue which I am not sure how to describe. In slightly tight turns I feel like my handle is not free enough to turn it and if I turn it more I feel like the bike will skid ( rear tyre specially) whereas I dont feel like this on big turns. This feeling is more prominent when the road is wet or there is some gravel because of which I dont feel comfortable anymore riding it on wet roads. Also on straight road sometimes it feels like as if both tyres are not in straight line. P.S I suspected this to be tyre issue and have got both my tyres replaced recently but issue is the same. Also I noticed that my last rear tyre was worn out unevenly ( slightly more on right side) . I have got my cone set also replaced couple of times, and this issue I feel started after latest cone set change( which happened a year back) . I showed it to couple of SCs but all of them say that nothing is wrong but I am pretty sure that something is wrong for sure. Also please note that I have't had any accidents by gods grace , except one time when my bike skidded in monsoon due to uneven road and pothole.
Kindly suggest what could be wrong here? Is it something to do with fork out or wheel alignment and balancing ( SC and tyre shops says there is no need of it in two wheelers whereas I have seen many videos where they focus on wheel alignment)?
Also If anybody knows any FNG in Pune it would be very helpful.
I have lost peace of my mind and handling of my bike. Because of the quoted issues, I got my cone set changed again, rear monoshock changed as it was leaking. But still the bikes handling is same after short initial improvement. As per the mechanic there is nothing wrong it seems( with handle, forks, wheel alignment & bearings, there is no play in wheels when tried to move horizontally on axle, thats the way he checked if wheel bearings needs replacement) , which I am finding it hard to digest. It is clearly evident on rough, uneven roads ( repaired in patches or worn out roads due to rains) at speeds of 20-30. The bikes handle gets pulled away which causes bikes lane change also causing road safety concerns.
Please help out here, and if possible suggest any honest and reliable mechanic in Pune.
Thanks,

I too have same issue. Got lower t changed, cone set changed, rear shock changed still same problem, but crappy Bajaj mechanics say either it's tyre or get swing arm replaced. Some say bike is okay.Originally posted by faffy View PostHello guys,
