installed rim tapes without centre stand. tilting the bike on side stand will pick up rear wheel and then you can do the needful.Originally posted by Ankitsingh007 View Postride or die

Great bro..! Check your inbox.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostWow AWESOME..!!
That will be your expression too if
You change
1. Oil to motul
2. Chain tight and clean lube.
3. All nuts and bolts tight.
4. Good maintained condition.
And ....
A fist habitual of revving till 10k rpm. ...
The smoothness returns back. .
My God ,every time oil Is changed ,it feels like resurrection of this amazing machine has taken place from the abode of heaven.
The best decision to buy this bike
3 years and still there isn't any bike I would like more below 150000₹ segment, heck I even gave up my r15 for this...!!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hello, I posted this in tires thread but have not got any comments so re-posting here againg.
I just changed the tires for my Pulsar 200NS from stock EuroCRAP (25k old) to Michelin Pilot Street Radial 110/70 R17 and 150/60 R17. Hoping to get much improved grip and handling now.
Bike is so much more eager to lean with the new set. I was scared almost for the first time I leaned.
Well the question I have is, what should be the optimum air pressure I should use now?? For the Stock EuroCRAP tires the OEM recommended values were 25psi Front and 28psi Rear (32psi with pillion). The tire guy told me that since the Michelin tires are Radial ones, they should be filled with much higher pressure. He said 30psi for front and something like 36-40 for Rear.
I had 31/45psi from the tire shop after fitting (checked on bunk later). It was feeling alright, infact a little less air in rear tire. But when I discovered on petrol bunk its 45psi, I reduced it to 36psi. Now it feels way too under-inflated though its significantly more than 32psi (with pillion) OEM value. I am worried that too less pressure might screw up the side walls of the tires.
Any advise on this?
Thanks a lot.
I should try and shoot email lto Bajaj and see if I get new tool set. Though my bike is almost 3 year old now. Let's see.
Also anyone knows whats the price of rear shock absorber unit??
And some good cushion shop in Bangalore for beefing up the seats for my 200NS??Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Check the tyre. The portion which says "Max. Load xxx Kg at xxx pressure". Fill 80-90% of that for doubles, 70-80% for singleOriginally posted by nilesh14587 View PostHello, I posted this in tires thread but have not got any comments so re-posting here againg.

Suggestions.... Plz
And plz mention the cost of rear disc pads.

My colleague rode the bike for few kms and i was pillion i felt he was riding in low gears 3 or 4 in open road but bike was trying to get power... Then he got down at his place after riding 1 - 2 kms in traffic I felt its trying hard to take power then i stopped bike, put it on main stand tried to move rear tyre in neutral.. But disc was very hot and tyre was locked.... What can be the problem... 2 times i have visited svc For rear disc. they are good for nothing... Yesterday i read service manual...."Chain adjusters position should be identical" i have read this on sm,but in my bike's first service they fiddled with adjusters.. N i think the problem started fron there.. Because tyre alignment gone wrong due to this disc started touching pads after getting hot it started expanding makin. Squeaking noise more audible... Then i went svc (first time after 1st service) with this prob and machenic rubbed disc pads saying problem will go and you will feel less breaks i felt less breaks and click(this sound can be felt when ur breaks r working perfectly) sound of break have gone breaks was like tractors's break i have to push my claw with pressure like i m riding an old bike with less and old breaks shoes but break paddle setting is fully up.... So m not able to ride confidently. Should i change disc pads... Will it solve my problem...

And 1 more thing i have read in service manual that life of disc pads is 15000 kms how these can give this much bad breaking.... I seen that cylinder which comes out of the pot to lock the pads on disc its coming out but not going back to release pads in removing pressure from rear break paddle ..... What should i do now.... Should i insist them to change whole rear break assembly?....
Can somebody give me bajaj care email...
Suggestions would be appreciated
Thanx in advance..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Check the (adjustable) rod that goes into the master cylinder (from the pedal). Should be loose. It should have at least 2-3 mm free play. Means first 5-10 mm of pedal should be free. If the rod is tight, piston in the master cylinder will not return fully, pressure inside the system will not be released completely when you remove your foot and brakes may remain half engaged. Small misalignment may cause little rubbing, but not a huge drag like you have.Originally posted by viki sah View PostToday my bike's rear disc got locked....any idea guys.... Another possibility is, the piston that works the pads has accumulated a sticky substance and is not freely moving in the cylinder.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
In most of the bikes, the lever does not sit in the spot shown in red box. was like that in my bike too. For that, a spacer (washer) can be added at the arrow position to bring the shaft fa little more closer and sit on the stopper. The 'stopper' is actually the place where one end of the spring is fixed (you can see the hole in it's centre)
I have used a washer 1mm thick
After that pedal can be adjusted to whatever position you like
