I'm worried about losing my warranty. But if it requires no cut, I can try that. Is it available online?.

Once I started riding, I realized the my bike couldn't rev above 4k rpm. Each time I twist the throttle, Bike initially accelerates and after crossing 4k, the ignition is cut off. The bike just doesn't rev. Any reason why this happens? Which part could be at fault here?
Air leaking cause power loss ..
First check hose pipes and then carb diagraph. Dont worry its normal with CV Carb. That why i like round or flat slide carb.[emoji2]

MRF are sure an upgrade over eurogrips but the difference is not HUGE, look at Pirrelis, Bridgestones or even Michelins.
            Thanks Mr. Officer,
I plan on taking my bike for touring in the moutains with bad to no roads, possibly even ladakh... are pirrellis and michelins upto it? In car tyres they're thought to be quite soft and puncture, sidewall damage prone.
Haven't seen bridgestone bike tyres here. any specific model thats good?

How is the wet grip and cornering ability of the tyres?

              ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Good time to buy pulsar 200 NS?

with the new models coming in, how is this bike faring? Are the tyres improved now for the same rate? How is the bike as compared to AS200 in terms of engine refinement and handling?

              Thanks.

Softer compound = stickier tires = less life and prone to punctures and cracks

I wouldnt recommend these for off roading or touring in mountains, look at dual purpose tires...knobby one's

Availability is a definite concern for Pirellis, BS and Michelins, check locally or www

Have come across some people on www who have different pair(s) of tires for regular rides and touring.

Agree with that. I have a friend who used Pirelli in lots of bad roads, finished off the tread by 10K kms and is using Zapper now

Finally got osram night breaker plus 60/55 and wow they are amazing than the stock one I had.
Costed me around 550 for one bulb and fitting.
Better than halonix n Philips normal h bulbs.
Couldn't get Philips extreme vision but definitely they are the best I have seen around.

How to lower the pedal height then ? lowering with shifter assembly makes the braking less effective.

Clocked 450kms today and went to get it serviced. Bike was washed, Engine oil/Oil Filter was changed and bike was returned back to me. my mentioned issues of Fan not working, radiator mounted incorrectely and Bike swaying to left were not attended. had to ask three different people to get these redone. they were avoiding it as opening Petrol tank is time consuming chore in NS.

atlast at 6PM when there was no pending bike,NS was opened and Revved like crazy to make Fan work.Which was horryfying to say the least. On one side they advocate dont revv bike above 50kmphr for first 2K kms and they themselves revv bike like crazy to test the fan. Fan didnt moved at all, after 4-5 minutes of revving hard coolant splattered all over the floor from overflow pipe or something and sucker had to let go of the throttle. was just thinking what if bike gets damaged in this case? Cooling is obviously not working and bike is stationary so no Air Cooling either. There got to be a more educated way to test Whether fan works or not.

also Service representative told me the fan will kick in at 200 Degree celsius. i thought he was joking, but he told this with straight face . it beleive he got his degree celsius and farehenheit units mixed up or something.even water boils and evaporate at 100 degree so 200 degree seem like too high temp for fan to kick in and this guy seemed like only guy with experience among all the guys over there.present status is bike standing at Service centre as they are waiting for some sensor from their other service centre in panchkula. hope bike will be fixed tomorrow and fan starts to move. i dont want to see Service centre people's annonying faces for next 5k kms

It is not necessary that fan should run regularly. It I'll engage only at time it is required means low air flow conditions like heavy traffic and in high altitudes where the air density is high. Don't bother about the fan engagement till the high coolant temperature warning telltale blows.

For me the fan is not engaged till 1500k on odo. After that I went to Bangalore for personal work and stuck up in traffic then only the fan engages.

Another kind request don't leave our dear ride to SVC they I'll spoil. Find good mechanic around you and get serviced. Just leave it in SVC till free service that is also for warranty record and water washing.

                          Thanks.
