Still 20 mins in 6 months is not bad, considering my PC RTC gets about 11 mins accuracy in one year LoL
    LOL That's a Funny clock

Regarding the Fuel indicator LED. It worked on older NS's, the ones with Single tone color.. In those Model that light will kick in when the Fuel gets to reserve. I know this coz One of My Frnd bought NS in the year 2012. For Newer ones like we have it's just a RevLimiter indicator Hope this clears you

Yes, that's correct about the newer ones. As for the clock, nothing is funny. Pulsars are stellar objects outside the solar system and they have their own time frame

Or maybe, according to Einstein's theory of relativity, time and space (hence speed) are relative. When you move faster, time goes (or appears to go) slower. Maybe you are speeding to much and your clock is going slow

Do this mod only if u can live with vibrations at your handlebar.it can be a direct fit. Its all about which handle bar clamp/raiser u use. Tvs victor GL handle bar raiser is a direct fit but I used passion pro raiser which is bigger so u have to widen the hole in lathe to fit that.

I have been riding this bike for more than 2 years now and i have only seen (or maybe noticed) the fan working only once and it was really loud..i was like wth and was clueless about the loud noise..i know it was coming from the bike, but couldn't figure out the first time..but then i checked and i saw it was the fan running..was happy to see that though bcuz i've never gave any thought about it being working or not..it came on under heavy traffic ride combined with a very hot sunny day..

And for the clock, it runs 5 mins slow for me And i have the single tone Mustard Yellow bike and the LED indicator do work as a reserve indicator..and working fine also..

Hahaha.... Theory of relativity...!!! Nice point-out bro..!!

At first I thought to ask the SVC guy (in my 1st service) about the reserve indicator not working, later thought how good can he fix it while he couldn't even change the clock and reset the service reminder. Now think how this guy can fix complex problems in bike?. God save us..!!

Bajaj SVC is really a crap...........!!! Never ever leave your bike there....Never, ever....!!!. I mean it...!!!
Find your own mechanic....!!! Simple. Make friend of him, even if he doesn't know much, he won't do any further damage to bike...

              @Mohankumar Bruiser @krixna @vivek7593
i tried the method to put bike in idle and wait 5 minutes for fan to kick in, sadly that didnt worked ,instead coolant overflowed and splattered all over the floor ,creating a Embarassing scene with neighbours. so rather than more experimenting i dropped bike at Service centre.

Got bike back today, they fixed something with the Sensor and now fan kicks in after properly heating up, service centre guy still claims fan will hit at 200 Degrees , lol!! i dont pay attention to his crap now.

              Still two things:-
-they putted Dtsi oil in, is it good oil? can i rip bike hard with it? i used to put Motul in my Old 150 and never had any issue but with other oils i used to get Burning smell, so just asking should i change to Motul or continue with it.
-the Number plate holder lost one Screw and was hanging in air after some hard riding. one fellow biker pointed this out to me. what other Screws should i take care of? or this was one off case.

took bike on to highway and hitted 120. bike feels pretty rev happy. Time for some Hard Riding

Bro!! Keep the rpms down in the 4-5K range as much as possible till 2000kms! If you ride like this your engine is not going to last long. Read owner's manual!!

Well, the fan did not turn on even once! The logic is, the engine was btw 3-4K rpm only. And the wind blowing on the radiator at 40kmph is stronger than the fan! Only in city rides, at lower speeds/lower gears/higher rpms, it used to turn on. Same now with 4K on the odo.

Note: at RPMs above 6K, I have no idea if the fan turns on or not bcoz can't feel or hear it

My beast is 1100 km old. First service done... At 800 on odo rear disc was making squeaking noise rarely... Today it started noise continuously... Went to service center today told my problem... He said that disc pad is making contact with disc so has to rub the disc pads... Then he rubbed disc pads with sand paper now noise is gone but break's bite is almost gone...

                        Suggestions.... Plz

And plz mention the cost of rear disc pads.

Done 350 km run in two days including 100 km off-road hill roads... Enjoyed the bliss of the beast

I agree with you, Everytime I leave the bike at SVC then a New problem arises, in the last two services they made chain tension so high... FTW

The SVC guys are so lazy that they'll simply say all PULSARS have this issue....

Same problem. Bike was humming like buzzzzz when I rode back after service. On reaching home, found out that the chain has been tensioned like the stay-wire of an electric post :banghead:
