Just when i was planning to purchase one. FML !

Did try the AS200, it feels bigger, handle isn't easy to turn when the bike is still - unlike NS (obviously due to the added weight of fairing) and it does feel heavier than NS. I believe NS weighs at 145kgs, and this one is at 153kgs.

I also did some digging here in Chennai today. I called up 4 dealers in various parts of Chennai and they all said that they didnt have the NS. Any definitive message on the future of NS was lacking. Some said that NS will no longer be available and AS had replaced it. One dealer said that NS would available in a month. One offered to take a booking and refund the money if no NS came up in a month (yeah, right). I went in person to Jai Bajaj, Adyar and again no NS and no information.

I love the look of NS and really hope it is not discontinued. This was going to be my first new bike bought with my own money. Come on Bajaj!

Anyway, but the uniqueness that we are getting right now from P220/AS200/RS200 and other rivals will be lost once Pulsar 150NS hits the road , Ideally they aren't same, but still then you will feel some loss of uniqueness, for sure
Look at as150 and as200 side by side
The 150 looks so odd and ugly that no one will prefer
I guess same will be with ns ...

Can we do it without too much of wire clutter?. HID projector lamp 35w?, does it offer more throw than a 55\60w H bulb?.

          Thanks
Wire clutter is minimum...only two wires for the USB charging...
I got it from www.d.x.com...Link here: Waterproof USB Charging Dock Station Set for Cellphone / GPS / Motorcycle + More - Black - Free Shipping - DealExtreme
          Item SKU code is 247017
Charges my nexus 5 and digicam just as fast as a wall charger...
I had my projector installed more than a year ago...no problems at all...throw was just a little bit more than stock but the visibility(CRI) increased a lot for me...easier to identify objects in the dark now....
Here are the pics as you asked...
Ignore the wire clutter...that is from my other accessories...USB charging is simple and you can do it yourself...my charger starts along with the instrument console..no need of engine to be running

            Hi all,

I am using Ceat Xoom XL 140/70 as my rear tyre. I am not having much confidence with that tyre on wet roads?

            Any better options?

Cool... Hopefully. I believe the same issue must somewhere be related to vibes as well.. Anyway 2500 more odd kms and I will change the engine oil to Motul 5100. Hopefully these issues will get reduced then..

As Far as I Know High chain tension will be the Primary cause of Vibes... From the beginning My NS had some vibes between 5K - k RPM range.

But After 6K it'll Vrooom to the top so Freely...

Mine is also somewhat rough up to 5K. Then till 9K it is so smooooth. But at 9K it starts becoming rough again. Using Bajaj oil... haven't switched to better ones yet

I bought pirelli sport demon 110 X 70 and 130 X 70 yesterday. Initial response is good. I have to Try different psi to get best handling and mileage. Amount is 9600. I thought it's slightly more but nowhere they have stock. So went for it. Iyengar tyre bilehalli.

9600/- is good deal as far as the prices I have seen on JC Road. And yes stock is big issue for PSD. Keep us posted about the performance.

BTW, the other day I told about milage that I got recently i.e. 140km in 4 lit = 35kmpl. It gets better. The bike was giving signs and I thought it will go to reserve in 4-5 kms and 140km would be done in 4lit. But infact bike went more than 20km after that. So final exact figures are: 39.5kmpl. Thats like no effect of tires at all. Now I has increased rear tire pressue to 38psi. Lets see how much mileage now I get.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

Am too still using Bajaj oil only. ODO Now at 4000Kms. By the way in that previous post there was a Mistake. Vibes take in b/w 5k - 6k RPM. I Missed the number 6 there.

Using Stock bike No Mods so Far. May be will change the Rear Tyre to 140/70 Radials after 10K Kms

By the way what's air Pressure you are using....???

Am using 28 and 35PSI for Front and Rear respectively...

Having 30 in Front makes the bike to skid even when the brake is applied so lightly
