My height is 5'6" and i am comfortable with NS even with flat shoes. If you wear something like woodland then no worries at all. I have read somewhere that using r15 tyre can reduce NS height, you can do that.

twice the fan run when my engine is off i check that from svc guys he cleared that if they engine is too hot it will run in battery

Yes, the fan will work even when the engine is not running. Kill Switch should be in ON position else it will not work.

Does you fan run when engine is running? If yes, then just relax it will run when the engine is off. Probably your bike was not hot enough for the fan to kick in.

In my bike it runs only sometimes(when engine off) not always. So just relax and enjoy the bike

It's not that you cannot ride thus bike but you will need to be a very very little careful about placing your legs,even my 5'1 friend rides ns with full awesomeness, it's just that you have to be cautious while placing your legs ..not too much

And to those Fan - tastic ns riders ,yes fan works when engine is very hot and off ,it works in my ns and my r15 ,even if engine is not on

sometimes my bike's fan runs when needed, but only with engine running.

1) if fan will run on battery, isn't there a risk of too much battery drain, if the engine is too hot.

2) ashish, you mean to say that fan will work even if engine is not running but too hot .. but only if kill switch is in "ON" position..? so how will you switch off the engine -- by ignition key ? but isn't the ignition key off means all systems off..??

others plz clarify..

Yes, the Fan Will work even when engine is Not running but too hot when - Kill Switch is ON + Ignition is ON.

Secondly it not good to let it run on battery since it will drain it.

I hope its clear now.

If you have any doubts regarding the working of the fan. Get the thermostat checked once. Although i think it should be fine since the fan works in your bike when engine is running.

If you have any doubts regarding the working of the fan. Get the thermostat checked once. Although i think it should be fine since the fan works in your bike when engine is running.

if kill switch is on and ignition is on, how do you switch off the engine..?? you mean to say that you switch it on after switching off the engine..??
