  • Handle pulling towards right.

    Post merged

    Hi xbians,
I am riding P200NS for past one and half year,
few days back i met with accident. I am safe but my bro(P200NS) is badly hurt. In that accident, bike fell towards right and handle got little bend and the handle is pulling towards left due to slight bend. Later, i checked in Popular bajaj(bannerghatta rd), they said nothing happened but i know bend/pulling is there and who ever drove my bike told that handle has little bend and its pulling towards left. Few days back i gave my bike for paid service in Khivaraj Bajaj(kasturba rd, blr) and told the issue to them and in return they said they fixed that issue. But then onwards my bike is pulling towards right and whenever i am driving my bike for 20min , even my hand also slightly paining. Today i went to check that issue with that guys(Khivaraj Bajaj). Here the thing is happened.

One guy(who is wearing ktm t-shirt, probably ktm service guy) came to me and asked the issue, i told him that the handle is pulling towards right and he checked that and said yes, its slightly pulling towards right. He took the bike for a test ride and came back after 20min. He called me and said the bike is fixed and i went for test drive along with him on the pillion seat. But very first grip only I realized it is good now and got fixed. I asked him how you fixed it without taking it into garage inside where it is get fixed. He said, he fixed this while test driving only and also said there is a setting for it in the bike. I insisted him to tell what he did? But he said first check whether the handle is fine or not. I told him it is fine. But he didnt tell what he have done. He said leave that info and enjoy my ride.

Does anybody know that setting? and how to do it. Because if anyone met with any accident, even it is minor or major, very first thing which will be ruined is handle bar and its balance. So if any one knows this please share with us. Thanks in advance. It will be very helpful for us.
    Cheers!
    VJ

exactly, the same is my understanding, but i got confused because of two reasons--

      (1) ppl here are tunning it leaner than stock setting....why..??

      (2) refer page 545, there is an image which says exact opposite.

      so....what others feel...plz discuss...

that image on page 545 was mistakenly posted. RPMs do not drop if you make it richer, so when you start rotating Clockwise and see the RPMs go down, it's easy to tell the direction that makes it richer and leaner.
I feel I must admit to my fellow xbhp'ians that I'm riding without RVMs.. :P I'm in love with the flickability and psychological boost you gain after removing the RVMs. Feels more confident when going through turns and traffic.

Atlast I bought my red color bull Friday @ Jai krishna Bajaj Coimbatore. The onroad price of the bike is Rs.1,01,658 + 50 delivery charges (Without center stand) Within 2 days I've ridden 200 km's .

            Pros :

At 6th gear the bike runs very smoothly at the speed of 48 kmph. The bike's sound is awesome, I like that very much. It gives me confidence while cornering, Riding at highways is really superb ( Engine is butter smooth no vibrations).

            Cons :

The bike seems to be vibrate at slower speeds and also the suspension is not so good (don't know the know). It's difficult to ride the bike in city because it requires frequent gear shifting. The stock tyres are good for daily commute . And also requires lot of space to turn the bike. There's no space in bike to carry some extra things. The seats are very hard and not good for long rides.

I'm riding the bike at 3200 - 3800 rpm and the top speed is 58 kmph @ 4000 rpm.

Bought a Vega Off-road helmet for rupees 1950.

Need Suggestions from NS owners for maintenance.

You're a genius prince, you wanna screw others life too eh! You want, to know the "undisturbed" AFR setting, which will lead to others "disturbing" their setting which will ultimately lead to screw up of their bike.

Prince, you've always been an invaluable member to xBhp, keep it coming. Oh my!

I'd suggest you get it done at PBK for the best results.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

So you bought it ! congrats man.
Your riding RPMs are correct. and top speed at 4k rpm is the same as mine, 58 kmph. You'll be used to things like hard seat and hard suspension in no time. What you're probably experiencing are vibrations in lower gears.

lol, so basically to count the stock setting, that "somebody" needs to roll back the afr screw towards leaner and then tell the number of turns factory setting comes with. that will be disturbing the stock setting xD

i am not screwing anybody, counting number of turns and returning it to its original position does not screw the tuning at all. FYI.

or maybe somebody had already tinkered with his afr screw and counted it beforehand, can also tell.

btw, i never make fun of anybody.

and i have been an owner of bajaj bikes since almost a decade, so last piece of advise i would need from someone is ...where to get my bajaj bike fixed... so plz.....

btw, which bike do you own....coz this is an ownership thread.

These were the words of my friend who rides a honda gem engine bike.
Today I experienced a out of the world quality.
Shifts like motogp, not even a miss or a slight jerk, not even in 1-2-N gear.
NO HANDLE BAR,FOOTPEG,HEDALIGHT,VIBES (TESTED AT 117KM/HR and here no MEANS NONE )
Tank vibes were even lesser than my friends cbr (about 1/3rd). Practically there were no vibes at all except THOSE WHICH ARE SUPPOSED TO BE GIVEN BY A 200CC .
                        NONE EXTRA WEIRD SOUNDS
engine behaved like a silent generator.

                        Thank you bajaj.
Ps. Bajaj bikes aren't crap, bajaj dtsi oil is CRAP.
                        (cannot control my happiness)

Best vfm is motul 5100, costs around 550 rupees per litre, you can also use motul 3100 gold, that costs around 350 bucks per litre.

Chain lube vfm is tvs tru chain spray, costs around 350 for 500 ml. Chain clean can be done by kerosene and if not available then diesel, but NOT WD40

Everything fine chain clean should be done with diesel. Prefer not to kerosene.

BTW bajaj recommends using diesel for clean in training manual.
