Dear fellow riders.... its waste switching toOriginally posted by hirenmistry View PostI doubt they will answer that.
I am so used to my classic's exhaust note and the NS does not have that. Hence thought of going thru the aftermarket route. But like you, I am also not sure abt the reliability of it.
But I might get their adjustable brake and clutch levers.
Cheers
Any sort of exhaust n air filers.... I have gone thru it... its waste....

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
It's your choice to use m, fs, ss or no engine oil. I'm telling what is universally accepted and will be good for this bike.Originally posted by pv1984 View PostYou can use Motul 5100 20W50 , as Bajaj DTSI oil itself is semi synthetic.
Bike comes with Semi Synthetic oil to begin with, so why wait till 10,000kms
Not here to spoofed you. Use the search button in this thread, engine oil thread and on Google page.you'll know why mineral should be used in initial thousands kms.Originally posted by eliksir View PostReally? Why?
The cost to performance ratio is very bad. Use tvs tru chain spray, it's total VfmOriginally posted by pratiksgole View PostWhat do you mean by isn't VFM? Please elaborate..

Max 100-150₹.Do it only if your night riding is almost nil. If you go out in night on a regular basis, pls avoid it.Originally posted by deep007 View PostHow much it will cost you smoke headlight

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Folks from Bangaore,
Please advice:
1. I am new to bangalore, want to get my NS serviced. Please tll which is the best Bajaj SVC around JP Nagar, Jayanagar area for NS??
2. I want to beef up the rear seat with some extra cushion or make a new softer one. Please tell me where can I find a good cushion maker and how much it could cost approximately.
BTW has anyone made any custom seats for NS???Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Holla folks,
Have anyone of you felt that the front forks are too soft as compared to the hard rear shocks?
The front, atleast on my bike, dives in too much. I predominantly use only the front brakes and engine braking for slowing down.
Is it possible to stiffen it up a bit using a different oil?
Looking forward to hear from you.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
please search for AutoService, Bangalore. You'll have to get a prior appointment their(preferable). Its very near to JP Nagar and Jayanagar and it has consistently got good reviews everywhere.Originally posted by nilesh14587 View Post1. I am new to bangalore, want to get my NS serviced. Amba bajaj on Hosur road is also good. At least better than others in the area, but it'll be a little far for you.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Last week I installed an after market air filter (simota), changed 2 spark plugs to NGK iridiums and put high tension cables too. The performance has increased much.Especially the low end torque. The air filter was fitted directly to the carb , removing and taking away that entire box within which the stock filter was placed.
2 days after all these istallations, one evening, the bike suddenly stalled during a ride just like it ran out of fuel.
I took it to the mechanic and he diagnosed it as the carburetor coming lose from the engine or something..(sorry am not clear with that part). He told that everything was intact once when that box (which contained the stock filter ) was inside and now the carb is coming lose because of its absence. So he made adjustments to make sure the carburetor does not come loose again. He said that the bike stalled like it ran out of petrol because too much air entered once the carb was loose and the mixture got too lean.
NOW, TODAY..(2 days after the above mentioned incident), my NS again stalled in exactly the same fashion. I tries to start but it just kept cranking. I had a small bike repair shop near by and asked them to tighten the carb, thinking it got loose again. but to my surprise the guy told that the carburetor was intact and there must be some other issue with the bike. WHICH IS EXACTLY WHY I'M WRITING THIS.
I phoned my previous mech. the guy who did all the installations....he said he would check if the breather hose for the fuel has no blocks and all. He was affirmative that it would only be something like that only.
By the way guys, when I tried starting the bike with CHOKE after about 10 mins, the bike did came to life. That is how I managed to reach home. But It was not a smooth ride and I felt like the engine would stall whenever I went below 2k rpm.
I've not done any upjetting. Might this be the reason ?
or Is it the spark plugs the culprit ? making mis fires ?
or is it something like a block or bend in any wire or outlet or breather like my mechanic said (and which he would check tomorow)
Another concern is that, the mechanic told that my engine head is leaking slighlty.....I dont know what he meant by that but I was thinking about making it right during my next service (after 3000 kms).
Does any one out there have any clue why the bike is stalling like this ?
