Good for you, but I never believe in owning pre owned things, machines or alive, I believe that there is a character, a tuning, a affair that needs to be developed right after a thing has been manufactured, so that you can develop the r/ship right from.the beginning, in the way you Want.just my philosophy.

Don't try to fix me, I'm broke so I don't work
So are you, but you're broke 'cause you don't work

Yes bro, I also changed at 4.5k km to motul 7100. And now I never ride below 5k rpm. There are some little vibration at 5.5-6.5k rpm above which surprisingly its vibe free till redline. Also I noticed that riding at low rpm has become more responsive.

The upcoming pulsar is not a 180cc engine.it will 150cc and it can come before pulsar 200ss with 17ps of power

Is anyone using / has used a michelin pilot street radial 130/70-R17? I've seen the 140 and although it looks really good and has good grip it gives a slight over-gearing effect, which results in lower-than-stock acceleration. Not to mention the cornering ability will be best on stock size. I'm looking for all-round performance over looks. I would like the owner using the 130 section to post a few pics and give a small review about it.

I hope I'm not asking for too much considering whatever little I've contributed to this thread.

                    Hey guys,

Ive done 21300 kms on my NS. My next service isnt due till another 1200 kms. Im planning a trip from Bangalore to Pondicherry in a couple days [total to almost 1000kms]. So, id gone to the SVC for a checkup last weekend, and the guy there said its fine to go and told me to service it after the trip. Even i was all fine with it. But now there's definitely a tappet noise [started 2 days after the SVC trip], its there in idlle, and lightens up after the engines warmed up. Question is, should i get my valves adjusted ASAP or can i just go for the ride without any consequences [long term included.] Problem is the SVC i go to [Auto service, Banshankari] wont be open till saturday. Im planning to leave early on saturday. Senior members, pretty quick advice needed here..

Have heard many people sat tappet noise in the forum. Tappet noise means the noise from the engine? Like the noise made by the moving Pistons?

Im not using michelins. But i am using pirellis. Was looking for Michelins, but some people suggested pirellis. Same size. This thing grips like a dream, braking is far more effective at the rear now. But be aware that youll run into far more puntures than you can think of [depends on where you normally go]. Ive had the pirellis for a month, already have got 2 punctures.

Tappet noise is the noise made by the rods [tappets] which opens and closes the valves in the engine, when they become loose and thus starts making a noise when they hit the valves. This is normal wear, and is checked at services.

Ive heard the michelins cost slightly lesser than the pirellis and are the best alternative to them. Besides im using a michelin pilot sporty of stock size in front and i prefer a rear of the same brand. I know pirellis are like glue though.

Well, i got the pirellis for 5k in Bangalore. There was another shop nearby [Tyre alignment place, Michelin dealer] He quoted me 5.5k for the pilot streets. Couldve got it for 5.2 maybe. But, in your case, i say it is better if you go for michelins.
Youre in Mysore, no? Its a bit hard to get them there [dont know about the availability now] i was there till 3 months back and looking around, could only find MRF's in the 130's

                                Hey Guys,

This is my first post. Im from Bangalore and I bought my pulsar 200 ns (red) just 3 days back. I have been driving bikes since I was 16 and now i'm 31. Trust me, this is the best bike I have ever had. Previously I owned a Hunk and I will speak about my experience on it later.

Here's my experience and I will not talk about technical stuff but my ownership experience thought its just 3 days

I was promised delivery just in 1 day and couldnt wait even for that one day. I had a confusion to choose black or red, but finally have to go for red, since I own a red figo . I got my bike as promised. I just did an over all check and everything looked fine, except the coolant level. I saw that it was lesser than the mid of Max and Min. I called the sales person and he said this is not a problem. I insisted that is double checked, so he took her to the service station and got it confirmed that it was fine. After assurance, I have to agree that nothing will go wrong. The feeling was amazing, it was like giving a candy to a kid :P

After doing a small test ride near to the showroom, everything was alright, I went to the temple for pooja. The engine was very very smooth. Gears were butter smooth as well. Had some heat coming off the engine, probably because it was driven longer for the very first time. After the pooja went back home. I didn't rev since it was the very first day.

My office is around 30 kms away from home, and I kept it below 50 (trust me it is very hard). I didn't find any vibration anywhere. Everything is smooth, the exhaust sounds great with some neat bass. There are 2 concerns which i believe everyone has here.

                                1. Suspensions are hard
                                2. The Clutch is hard

Well, Im not complaining however. The drive though was 60 kms everyday, I never felt tired. Believe me it was difficult to ride hunk everyday, and at 65 kmph you will feel that the engine is stressed. I dont know, but I felt that hunk is heavier than pulsar.

I was a bit sceptical to move to pulsar from a honda, but ns made me realize that I made the right choice proving that it is better than hunk anyday. I still couldn't believe that the ns' engine is as smooth as that of honda's. I dont know if it is too early to say this but you dont have to trust me, you ride and you will know what Im talking. How ever I still have to agree that Hunk had a better suspension than ns.

I keep looking at her all the time. The acceleration is just amazing. I have not revved her hard, but I could judge what the bike can do. I just got the pro biker gloves, Im not a big fan of it, but wear it because I have bought it. Im yet to put on the rim decals (red), waiting for the ebay shipping delivered . Will soon post some pics.
