NS owners looking for new set of tyres may find it useful.

Its a review of mrf Zapper Q for NS. Which according to reviewer is a good option for reasonable price.

Members using the same tyres pls confirm the authenticity of this review.

I am using zapper q on ns for a long time....worst tyre....pathetic... the tyre just spins out once you apply throttle....it simply cannot take the 23.5 bhp... on wet roads give a little more throttle and it will start spinning... poor general wet grip too.... holds good in offroads.... and the tyre has a huge tendency to tramline and a little bit aquaplanning... at that price i'll buy a revz-s which I used before this for 17k kms... amazing tyre it was... waste of money buying a zapper q...use it only if u get it free, like I did...

          Ohh man..
I seriously hope its qc problem!
I thrash ns to its extreme limits... also on other hand i pamper the way it should be..
Yes buddy engine is strong but the wiring is wired
I had self replace the front indicator wires with better quality ones.. the stock wiring for front was poor( in my case)
Even after vibes and all problems theres some kinda of connection between me and my ns which isnt letting me give up on her easily
Other thing- has anybody tried quick action throttle on ns?? where could we source one?

its not only in nagpur. Its almost evrywhere barring a few places. The reason I feel is absolute lack of low end torque. Plus the stiff suspension, everybody dont like it, everytime you need to go over a speed breaker ( not the smooth one, but the sharper ones which are made at many places even in big cities) you need to shift down to 1st gear. Then the sound, it dont suggest it's a 23.5 bhp at all. And these reasons are enough for a commomn person to buy a P220 over NS.

I feel my NS is always leaning towards right when I go straight. What could be the reason?

True...even here in Bangalore one can find lots of 220s but very few Ns ...despite being more powerful and economical....maybe ppl prefer the fairing over other factors...

Regarding the bike going right, its normal. I don't have the bike but I am telling based on posts in the beginning of this thread. Have been following this thread right from the beginning. Lots of useful info for potential and future 200NS owners like me.

In regard of being more powerful, I would like to say that more power and torque in the Rev range which is more generally used should be compared. Not the peak power. And for that we would need torque/power curve for both the motorcycles. Then a fair comparison can be made.

PS: My uncle have P220 and I really like the way it pulls right from jusk 2k rpm.

1.low end torque that is not the reason at all because when i am testing the ns can pick up even at 6th gear and speed as low as 35 to 40km/h so the low end torque is not the reason

                      2. it is best ever engine build by bajaj and the low end of the engine is ditto to ktm 200 engine. engine is the best part of ns

                      3. pulsar 200ns 0-60 in 3.6sec approx and pulsar 220 0-60 in 4.1sec approx

now i tell you the main reason about a common person to buy p220 over ns

                      1. when they ask about engine of both the bikes the dealer tell them that ns is 200cc and pulsar 220 is 220 cc

                      2. when they ask about price pulsar 220cc is cheaper than 200ns

so a common man thinks that bigger engine(220cc ) in less money go for pulsar 220 they doesnot want to go into the full dynamics of the pulsar 200 ns

if you want to know more about pulsar 200ns vs pulsar 220 check this link out

Did my third service on odo 4450km.Motul 5100 is still not available on market so had to use bajaj dtsi oil.Mileage 34-37kmpl on city ride around 80kmph.0-100kmph at 9.5sec sometime 9.0sec is it some kinda' mistake or everyone's getting it? Satisfied with service centre.I handle my bike to a funny guy who loves to talk and also know what he's doing. He cleaned clutch wire, accelerater wire, all three spark plug,no hassle with switch now, cleaned chain but no charge suprise suprise.Leg guard and brake lever was bend after a slide while protecting running kid.He just saw it and mend it,no need to inform everything, even while changing oil he squeezed every bit of old oil leaning bike to left and right.Totally satisfied customer.

True...even in kathmandu, showroom tries to sell 220 than 200 ns to people. That happend to me too.i just ask them not to talk about 220,thanks to you all guys and xbhp,i was fully aware of what i was gonna buy.Still i see lots of new 220 with new decal than NS.Still people don't research on thing they're gonna buy on this 21 century where there's google, youtube, wikipedia everything.Whatever i wish to be the only one with NS on the street of ktm.

yup the reason behind it is pulsar 220 are made in bulk so they have a bunch of stocks left though the bike is selling in a big number but the bajaj want to clear its stock before launching the next bike to make market for there new bike and ns is made according to demand

and ns is a new generation bike so it last long but pulsar 220 pulsar 150 pulsar 180 are around quiet a while

and this is the reason why when we enter a bajaj showroom they have only a few 200ns in stock but pulsar 220 in a bulk

and reason why pulsar 200ss has its testing completed but not yet launched

when i went to buy ns i knowingly showed them that i just want to buy a bike without giving them any hint about 200ns then they showed me discovers then i said i want to buy ns then they start convincing me to buy pulsar 220 my father has a problem with the bike weight dealer quickly took the profit of it and said that 200ns is of 160 kg without fuel but i know the fact and i stick to ns because of it power, styling , parimeter frame (which is much much stronger than pulsar 220 frame) , weight balancing, both disc brakes and one more fact that pulsar 220 is old now pulsar 200ns is next gen bike

i and all of the guys in this form and all pulsar 200ns know the fact it is easy to buy pulsar 200ns but the people without knowing any fact dealers gets success in selling them pulsar 220 instead of pulsar 200ns it is very bad that they are ignoring pulsar 200ns just to clear their old stocks

Yup thats true.I had to wait for 45 long day to get my NS no stock but for 220 right away pick up your colour! I heard bajaj has discontinue 220.
