Thanks bro for your valuable info. Just checked with dealer again (in Chennai), he confirmed that he had placed order and yet to receive, will take another week. He asked me the engine no of AS so that Bajaj will ship faster than usual, but I said it for NS, so he said the wait time will be like 3 weeks.

Following your points, I don't see any need to run after a workshop for this mod. let me post once i get it. Thanks again.

Brother these are easy to fit, just remove bar end weight and insert that screw in mirror's stem, there are nut, bolt and spacer provided with mirrors, out of which i used the nut on inner side as a spacer so there is small gap between grip and mirror stem.

For using these along with bar end weight you will need a long screw.
Thanks for sharing. I will do it along with the wind shield mod. Just checked in ebay, they cost 1999/- inr and it says it is for RE cafe racer. I hope it best fits for us as well. One more doubt, I'm using a hand glove always, will that hinder the mirror placement?.

Actually in these pics mirrors are rotated 180 degrees so they are near grip, if you use them as they are meant i.e. rotated 180 degree outwards then there isn't any niggle as even i use gloves. But you have to be careful in traffic and it will take sometime getting used to.

Sure bro, But I will continue to use the stocks as well. I don't want to remove them and keep only these. I don't mind how weird it may look having both mirrors installed. But I need some more wide angle when crossing lanes, etc and I hope this one gives a good solution.

Thanks for sharing. Worth reading thousand times.
Thank you very much jbm_guy I don't click much of the photos while touring. Its more like I feel and live it. I just clicked some 180 pics on my Ladakh run that was for over 20 days and a bit more than 3500kms. Add to it that every part of it was scenic enough to make you fall in love with the place.

You are tempting me bro. 3 years to reach that, what do you mean?, it's been close to 10 months since I own NS and I have clocked just 6K . I do trips but most of them are small say 250KMs. Congrats..., I envy you

Hey guys i own a 2015 model ns and after run-in period i have clocked 141km/hr and i could have even manage to go further.
But the thing is from the last service, i feel like it kinds of lags between 5-6k RPM and the rpm needle shakes too much.
Also Now the top speed is also limited to 127 Km/hr
Any idea why such kind of experience?

This is because the service A-holes doesn't know what on earth they are doing.
They have changed your AFR screw settings..did you ask for better mileage?if not try checking your mileage, you might get more than expected.
BTW setting the correct carb tuning for 200ns is a pretty tough job(Even if the ASC/Aholes guys say they did it perfectly ).some senior may be able to help u on this with the correct place to get there perfect carb tuning.

Yes, AFR settings. That's why when I give to svc, I'd insist them not to do anything specifically on that. Try a different svc and ask for suggestion. In general, to hit beyond 125 kph, you should hit rev max in each gears. Also check how much your bike does @x rpm, say NS does 110 kph @7000 rpm or @80 kph 5600 rpm in 6th gear
THis will help you rule out do you really have issue with carb setting.

I think with incorrect carb settings the rpm-speed remains the same .its just that it takes a long time to reach there and top speed takes a big hit.

Sometimes lack of power could be both rich and lean mixture in carb. Incorrect carb tuning can make RPM unstable for eg, letting excess fuel in will cause incomplete combustion and hence the RPM output\needle may deflect that. If you find the needle jerking around then it's the RPM of the engine which is not steady, but needn't be true all times, sometime the sensor could be the culprit. But this plus lack of punch is related to carb settings (AFR) mostly. The lack of top speed can also be the same one reason.

Try opening the choke when you feel the lack of power say @5-7K rpm. This will isolate if you are running lean. But riding with choke is not a good idea.
Warning : Try this in an empty or open place with less traffic. Location of the choke is hard to reach

Remember, loss of power can be both rich\poor mixture.
                          Just my opinion

However, today I noticed 2 more pipes on right side of the bike which have on lose end each... I am not sure if these are also cut by them or they are supposed to be like that....

For your information, I have not tried. But assure you if you check in our NS forums, you could surely find the screw adjustment procedure. But you have to be patient in tuning and observing. Or say better, take it to another svc and have it verified. If things don't work as expected, you may try DIY. This is my piece of suggestion bro

Bro that's coolant drain tube (From reservoir). Not a serious threat. Take it to svc nearby and just make sure. They might have cut that as well when shipping. By the way from where and on what transportation did you ship?. How was the shipping process?, cost, and finally any dents/scratches?
