              • Guys,need some help. Which is the best dealership in Bangalore for buying pulsar 200 ns? in terms of buying experience..etc.

                Also for those of you who have upgraded from a 220 dtsi, how does it feel overall and what are your satisfaction levels.

                Please forgive me if these queries have already been answered and redirect me if possible Thanks in advance

                • HI,
                  It's my first post here. When i saw pulsar 200ns before 5 days at Jaipur showroom i become fan of it. So in next week i may be in the pulsar 200ns family. When i visited the showroom they didn't had test ride vehicle. When i told for a test ride they gave me bike which was not registered as Test ride. So can you please tell me What should i check so that i get a Genuine bike which is not used as Test Ride by others.

                    Welcome to xBhp Harshit. Frankly speaking, No Bajaj bike should have anything on odo more than 2 or 3kms (As they are test ridden at the company before they are sent out). If the odo reads anything more than that, you know what it means. But these fellows take off the speedo cable before they let others use it for test ride by others. If I were your situation, which I was till a few weeks back, I had looked for some other show room which din't let aspirant 200NS owners test ride bikes which were meant to be sold. (I did face the same case when I had gone for booking the NS)

                    Still a few pointers:
                    * Engine should be smooth somewhat like the honda unicorn or the R15.
                    * Dirt under the rear tyre hugger (Yea, I know its kinda little hard to see inside and much harder to clean)
                    * Scratches

                    I just recently upgraded from a 220Fi to the NS and only rode 346kms till now and is still in the run-in period.

                    Pointers from my side:

                    * Acceleration is quite impressive.
                    * F.E. is amazingly great for a 200cc 23bhp monster (getting around 55)
                    * Riding posture is somewhat different than what I was used to on the P220.

I don't think it will be an issue, once its take care off for the rest of lifetime of bike. Considering even the 220, 200NS is very very vibe free. How old is you oil surojit? And which one?
                      The 200NS is much vibe free, i also agree on that, recently it has started to vibrate a lot more... in has increased exponentially. The only issue is I am not getting time to take it to the SVC to get the issues sorted out.
                      I am using the DTSi oil and i guess it ~ 3k kms old.

                      Its not that Number of posts that matters, its the number of Kilometers that does and how you do those kms that matters....

                        • Guys,

                          I'm not a P200 Owner but i still have one query - the Rear Mud guard as we all know that a bit Outlandish for the Bike - i have one question - is it possible to fit the P220 (P150 or P180) Mudguard in the this 200
                          By doing that - the bike will get a better Look in the Rear than the P135 Kindish Look???

                            The "no fuel" feeling at 3.5k rpm has been in the bike since the first day for me..have tried tuning as well but to no avail..will definitely get the same checked at the service..still 200 on the odo though..any special things to be taken care of at the service guys??

                            • My bike crossed 2000km mark yesterday and it has been only two weeks. There are negligible vibrations after tuning except for the persistent console buzzing. Apart from the engine, the vibes also came after the first service due to improper chain tightening(too tight), so I went to a mechanic I knew very well and had it adjusted. the svc guys are too lazy(they even put grease on the rear disc which I had to clean on the way home). They did not replace the oil filter which is very disappointing. I replaced it yesterday and also got all the nuts and bolts tightened by a torque wrench.

                                As I said havent gone to the SVC yet, but didnt face any problem in my recent ride..
                                Mileage (Rough estimate) is around 32-33 kmpl. (This being averaged out on a distance of 760 kms, with average speed of 65kmph)
