Can't Comment about 220, But NS surely has a Oil filter. It is located on the Right side of the bike. To be more accurate, look parallel to the Oil checking window towards the front wheel. It's a circular kind of thing Painted in golden colour, and "Oil Filter" embossed on it.Originally posted by utsavchs View PostExcellent explanation psr sirji. Oil Filter, yes. Just a tiny query. can you please elaborate the highlighted word in your comment with source if any.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Please help me guys, my experience with the beast had been pretty bad till now. Between 3 to 4 rpm the bike gives me mild jerks which can easily be felt but the service guys disagree to the same. The bike does not feel smooth at all. I have done just 230 on the odo what could be the issue I need somebody to please help me out with this. .

Well, yes, it's all gone now, and from my experience, it's all in the tuning. I met another helpful xbhpian 9@RahulBarik) on this Sunday, and exchanged our rides to understand the nature/defect in NS. He also felt that snatchy feeling when he rode, and offered me to take my bike to his known local mechanic for a nice tuning.Originally posted by gagankeshav View Posthey Shibadip, the issue u faced on constant speeds i face the same issue since day 1,no matter tge tank is half, full or on reserve..is tht issue still vd ur destiny?? n if not how dd u take care of it??

After the local mechanic did the tuning, the above feeling is now totally gone.
If you will doing the tuning yourself, then I would suggest that you make it 1-2 revolution richer (i.e turn the AFR anti-clock wise), and then check. BTW, what's your current mileage??
How can you conclude that the bike is defective just by reading one comment??Originally posted by sree@mumbai View PostYou are so unlucky to get the defective piece .

you just cannot term a bike as a lemon, just because it is having a few issues.
Understand how an inexperienced guy will feel if he reads your answer.
But I agree with your suggestion about going to some other SVCsigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

Hey congrats for the XUV, another epitome of Indian engineering. And the RED seems to be favorite here :Originally posted by Shibadip View PostAll my NS friends -
My Father got ourselves a New Car (XUV 5oo) yesterday. Since this is a Biking forum, so will not go into details, but just a Small teaser of the Beast along with my Darling DESTINY.
PS -It is absolutely a co-incidence that I'm putting up this post at a time when there have been an ongoing Bike vs Cars discussion going on. This post is just meant to share the good news, and my love/preference stays with MY Destiny.. (any given day)

Gagan, i'm sure, there's noting wrong with your bike, looks like carb tuning issue to me. Can you describe how exactly the issue is? I mean does it jerk when you are accelerating or are at constant RPM? Secondly, because the bike is just 230Kms on ODO, I would suggest you to wait till atleast the first svc.Been There, Done That; Better!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
yes Rahul even i think it might be a carb issue, but it is so irritating that its not just letting me wait till 500kms mark, ive been doing proper run in and still the same..and yes..it accelerates absolutely fine...just gives the jerks at constant speeds..no matter speed be 55 or 35..Originally posted by rahuldevnath View PostHey congrats for the XUV, another epitome of Indian engineering.
