Thanks for the Video and the heads up on Bajaj's quality check of the P200NS in water...Bajaj has come a long way ,and soon we can hope to see good bikes to international standards from them.

No need to worry about this bro.. many of us including me personally have tested the underbelly exhaust when it rained here in Bangalore, bike was revving according to my wish , no stops in the middle and even after being stopped deliberately in the middle of water bike started in just one try...
ATGATT! There are many wonderful riders/drivers out there who would intrude in your riding space without any notice. Be prepared. Stay Safe.

I have heard that some bikes (eg. CBR 250R) when revved hard yield you good mileage and when revved normal will yield low mileage...its auto techies language..layman wont be able to understand.

hold your horses for 500 km more,if you still have the patience left.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

now stop fooling other people, which seems to be rage among ns onwers.
show them the exact position of the exhaust,as we don't wanna spread wrong info about bikes to laymen as they are already full of misconceptions about 2 wheelers.

Well, they are full of misconceptions indeed. I talked to them in a tone that made it sure I am not into any discussions then, because of a very slow traffic and i was drenched because of a5-min rain from nowhere. I did not expect them to believe it though.

I also want to tell abt an conversation with a guy a few days back. He asked me what was the price of the bike, i said 1lakh, then he asked what was the mileage, I replied 45 to 50. and what he concluded that it was a wasteful investment. His theory was the costlier the bike, the more mileage it should give. and he was expecting it to give atleast 100kmpl.

When you say that you have similar kind of rear disc noise, is it only when you apply rear break? Cos in my case, I can hear this during low speeds even without applying break and while taking a turn too, Something like the caliper is rubbing the disc only in certain areas.. more of like the disc has a bend somewhere. This was the reason I got my rear disc changed but again I can hear the noise after some 30kms of ride.
                          Yes bro,
Even without applying the brake it does make that sound. The SVC guy applied WD-40 near the hub and the noise went off but after a few kms...low and behold!! its back. This problem also plagued the 220. (Not all, but about 3 of my friends have it). Appears that there is not enough daylight between the brake-shoe and the disc.
                          Its extremely irritating
Two legs and Two wheels. Add two more and they become crutches and cars.

What ever you do, make sure the engine is hot enough. Don't worry, no harm done.

It's true, even some 220 had brake noise issue, but never had them either on a new 220 or the NS now. My NS is now making a slight sound from the disc, which I think will sort out on its own. Considering the my 220 had KBX brakes, and the NS has Bybre, it doesn't look like a specific issue as such.

                            • Hi guys, anyone else getting insane reading in Speedometer ?
I have been having this problem ever since i crossed 300KM in the ODO. In my first service, the SVC guy said he has changed the sensor cable and said it would work. But he was not sure too. It gave proper readings for some 4 days and that is it. The problem arose again. Now am on 1500 KM and waiting for my second service. If anyone else having the same problem and got rectified please give me some information on how it should be rectified. The SVC guy here has no Idea.

When you have issues like this immediately go to the SVC and tell them to rectify it. and if they done just shot a mail to bajaj customer care. do not wait for the second servicing for this....
