I'm sure 200NS can give the swift a run for its money in those figures. Secondly, 200NS is capable of doing 120Kmph at drop of hat and can go upto 156+ as well, though at much slower pace then the swift. Infact on open highways, I was able to keep up with a fortuner, to an extent that the driver was so impressed, that he actually asked me later, "which bike?" "very good, very good"
Sorry for bringing up the OT guys... But to end it from my side... I said so because I dint see any car ruling the highway on my recent ride... They were 90-110 kmph while i was doing 125+ kmph continuously,
The bike is Rock Stable at 120-130 kmph range. To give you an Idea, I covered Mumbai to Hospet (750 kms) in 12 Hrs flat, which included 2X60 mins breaks and 6 other small photography/refreshment/re-fuel breaks.

And as someone correctly pointed out roads are not to be ruled, they are to be felt, you need to feel the oneness with the road to fully utilize it safely.
    Thats all from my side.

First try with Semi Synth (Motul 5100 and Shell AX7)then try FS if there are no issues....Best to talk to the ASC Service Supervisor or service manager and get info.
If the roads are good with less traffic , cars do upwards of 130 Kmph easily on our highways..remember at 120 you have only two skinny wheels to brake and stop while cars have 4 wider foot print to stop.

Try imagevenue . Once pics will get uploaded, you will get the BB code that you can copy and paste in forums. That way, the photos are also not resized (unlike they are in attachments) and on clicking one can view the pics in real size.
If you still want to go with attachments option, you can try switching browsers if you already havent buddy.

If you ask me, you should have already been on FS right from 5K. And I don't think there's any harm in moving to FS right away, Bajaj Dtsi is also supposedly Synthetic Blended. Also, I feel 200NS head won't leak, unlike previous Pulsars, the gasket is rubberized.

Sir the Dtsi oil which Bajaj provides, is already SS in nature. So I think FS oil after 10k is safe enough bet.

Thanks for sharing this very useful mod which would help many to convert smartphone in to GPS device.

You had mentioned earlier that you did not cut any wire. I am wondering where have you connected the charging unit? I think it's not a battery. Is it a BCU (if there is any)?

It often takes a humiliating overtake to understand that an early jump off the red light won't help them lead the pact. All I want to say is - Go after green.

In the picture you can see that the charger is attached (not connected) to the CDI, under the rear seat, one can install it anywhere they find it feasible. But, the charger needs to be connected to any +VE and GND in the bike. In my case I have connected the +ve to the 15A fuse area (under front seat area) and the GND to one the male/female connector's GND (can be any thing). Though one can connect it directly to the battery terminals, it's better to connect it via bike's fuses so that it's more safe and only works when the bike's ignition is in "ON" position. Installing it is just a 2 min job though.

I am using the DTSi oil and i guess it ~ 3k kms old.

Rest every thing seems to be OK.
What about ur gear issue??? and whats the mileage u are getting??(Though I guess u won't be knowing that)

                        1. Hard gear shifts (1, 2, 3) continues to haunt me.
                        2. Tappet have become loose and make hell lot of rattling noise.
                        3. Post 3rd service, weird noise from console can be heard. Fitment issue I am sure.
                        4. Console Neutral light isn't steadily glowing but dimming & also the rpm needle is vibrating now.
                        5. Bike feels little harsh till 4K rpm but smooth post that. I am not sure but will change engine oil and will update you guys.
Same here guys.. i am getting dissapointed by the vibes, specially above 7k rpm, and also the gears have become lil hard and few false neutrals once a while...
Other than that , even i am getting neutral light getting dim and then becoming stable...also since yeterday noticed that rpm needle is vibrating, specially on higher rpms ..... i know one of the reasons for the issues may be the bajaj oil... but what about the vibrations ?
@ Suro: from where in pune u get ur bike serviced? Are they allowing to put any other brand oil?

Sorry missed on that: I have upgraded from a 220DTSi. And boy, i'm enjoying my every day ride like never before. Not that 220 was bad, but 200NS is way ahead of 220 in terms of handling. 200NS also gives you the big bike feel and build revs much more silently and freely. Completely satisfied with 200NS.

Yes I am aware of the oil's grade and type...It is also used in Ninja 250....but the contention is to move up to a better oil...many people who have moved on to a Motul mineral from DTSI have reported better acceleration and less engine noise, similarly the Motul SS had performed better than the DTSi which makes me think that the OE oil may not be SS, like their claim of 10,000 Kms life.. Pulsar owners have complained of oil leak while using FS,and not knowing the P200NS build Tolerance , it is better to ask the service manager/supervisor before using FS.

One more good DIY from you...Wiring the charger AFTER the fuse is very good execution of the install...The switch in the unit also prevents unnecessary running of the unit when not needed.
