I got my p200ns exactly a month ago. this is my first bike and I hardly know any thing about bike. my friend dropped the bike last week he was riding at a speed of about 30 kmph . Luckily nothing happened to him and no significant damage was visible on the bike . just the crash guard and the rear brake lever had bent, today I have noticed that handle when turned on the right touches the tank . can any one tell me what might have happened.?
Hi Chirag... unfortunate on the fall... probably the fall caused the handle bar to tilt a little bit... think it might be better that you go and get it looked at by the service center... also check for the alignment....

Hey guys my bike's clocked 330km on odo.. I recently got the engine oil and oil filter changed. And i used to have problems with the upshifting from 1st to 2nd! and now after the oil change i'm having trouble downshifting from 2nd to 1st as it doesnt go to the 1st gear.. even if i press the lever many times!! So i have to put to 2nd and move and then it comes to normal after some time.. This is happening about 2-3 times a day !!
      1.Anybody else facing this ?
2.If yes, Did u get it fixed ?
Well I have not had this issue and pretty sure most of us do not have this issue... But looks like the gear lever needs some adjustment or lube.. Don't worry, just get it rectified @SVC

MG sir in B'lore??!!! cool.. Nice pics all...

      I have an issue:
I have been driving in the rains for the past few days... Today I went to fill petrol, opened the tank cap and noticed that there was water!! in the inner rim/socket of the tank.. Did anyone else face this? Is this fine? Should I be taking this up with the SVC?

      My 1k

Water filling issue in the inner rim/socket of the tank was there in my P150. I wish that bajaj had corrected this issue on the next-gen, but alas.

I am also facing the problem. It started after 150km and now at 300 its vibrating and making noise like a diesel 6 seater auto. I feel the vibration at feet, seat, tank, handles. it feels less powerful as well. Will be going to svc tomarrow. Also will change oil to motul 3000 mineral oil. Hoping that my NS wil come back.to rhythm soon. I am really tensed about it. :-(
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

May be you're riding the bike a bit hard, if so, then get the engine oil changed frequently during the run-in ! It'll be back to normal.. dont worry

It has already started showing devilness... didn't you see the 1k pic??

This is crazy, overlooking an issue such as water mixing with petrol (almost)!!! What is the use of going the distance to fill petrol from Shell only to end up getting it to contaminate...

Now I have to keep a set of tissues to drain it out. Still worth it having an awesome time with my bike...

People who are complaining about engine getting rough, get the oil changed.. I had the same issue and after 1st service, its gotten a lot more smoother..

Wouldn't it be better if the tyre hugger also had the rear number plate just like the Diavel???

guess you need to fix a indicator buzzer for that.....I haven't seen any bike till date which gives indicator sound from stock....we all fit a indicator buzzer for that..it comes around 100-200 bucks...

come on man that is Diavel.....the brutal beast.....the NS design in my opinion won't go with the numberplate holder in the hugger...again totaly my opinion....

Sorry to hear that friend, The handle change will depend upon the severity of the bend, all the bikes which I have came across had independent headlight assembly, get the replacement done infront of your eyes, get a bill, no room to cheat.

Shibadip & Sandysend : With my pulsar 150 I am facing water logging( yes water logging), water not only makes their presence felt on the inner rim but it travels further, mixes with fuel, and eventually registers their dominance in the engine(my engine never opened, lucky me).

In rainy seoson I look to park it under a shade but if I don't find any then I spend my time thinking that if it rains then my engine will be flooded(I seldom use it during rains).

How can u be so sure that Water is registering their dominance??
In my P150 the water always accumulated on the inner rim/socket of the tank, and if I am not careful while opening the lid, then only water enters the engine.

@sandy and @sumit - This time I have thought of placing a Sponge on the inner rim/socket of the tank, so that it can absorb the excess water. Just opening the lid at frequent intervals and squeezing out the excess water from the sponge during the rainy season will do the job. However, Bajaj should have looked into it, as it's a known issue in Pulsar segment.
