Normally I would advise bros to adjust it themselves like I do, but seems like its too volatile in nature as of now to do it on P200NS. Take it to the service center and ask them to adjust it for you. Tell them that it dies during the first start of the day or when its cold. Keep an eye on what he does and learn, that's the best way.Originally posted by sands794 View PostMy idling seems to be pretty low, now i need to give a little bit of throttle to get the bike moving from standstill , oh and unless i choke it, it turns off after a cold start. GOD DAMN IT! :'(

The oil indicator still blinks randomly , even after they had replaced it....
Are you at Mavelikara right now!? Can we meet? I think my bike is also having that roughness now. I wish to compare your's with mine and also like to take some snaps of both our bikes together. Let me see if I can get a red NS too! There is one in KallumalaIts not the speed.....it is all about the skill !!!!

If the SVC guys are not able to resolve your issue take your bike to another SVC simple....if you have KTM service center nearby the better...Originally posted by Nhojv View PostWhew ...two days and a lot of updates on the thread..just finished my trip and run in odo at 2098 now. @rahuldevnath and Satyen : there is definitely a loose nut kind of sound from the engine .especially around 4500 -5000 rpm....it's getting more prominent now....not sure if that is the tappet or not..but definitely an unwelcome sound ....I had the same sound in my first bajaj bike..wind 125...the service engineers couldn't place the reason for it...hence am very concerned about it .

Lossing Engine Smoothness!!!!
Let us all discuss the below check points
1) Take your bike to SVC and Compare your bike with another bike to see the difference in smoothness.
2)Which OIL was previously used while taking the bike delivery...
3)Was the OIL changed in your presence or did you leave the bike at SVC. Check if they have changed the OIL.
4)Change the OIL to some other branded OIL and not DTSi OIL.
OIL is the culprit most probably and not a mechanical issue since most of the guys complain about the smoothness lost once the first service was done...
Seniors yours advise on the above needed...Correct me if iam wrong...

Sree

ThanksOriginally posted by Shibadip View PostWell friend, 1st of all Fazrd is not a Full-faired bike. It's half faired.
And in case you havent heard, Bajaj is all set to launch a faired version of the NS sometime next year, code named SS(super sports)
Try pushing both the buttons for 5 secs or more.
If still not, then take it to the dealer, and ask him for a Full Demo....

As per bajaj 2000Kms is the run-in period. However, It is not advisable to ripp the bike right after the run-in is over..
After the initilal 300-500kms, try running the bike in a normal way, with combination of short brusts, and varying the rpm.
just keep in mind NEVER to redline the engine, or to lag the engine. And as u go on doing more kms, and strengthen ur bond/connection with ur bike, you yourself will get the idea when the bike is ready to deliver it's full potential.
Keep riding, and ride safe...
@Rahuldevnath - Super job..I like how u keep urself busy with the bike.
Yes, that sound is present in many bikes including mine. It's either timing chain or Tappet. But nevertheless, nothing to worry, just wait and tolerate the sound till it's sorted out.Originally posted by Nhojv View PostWhew ...two days and a lot of updates on the thread..just finished my trip and run in odo at 2098 now. From your pictures, I''ve noticed with HID, voltmeter is reading 12.6... Does this HID affect battery? I mean does this make battery low? I ride about 10 km daily.. not that much kilometers.. so?

What is the difference between adjusting rpm and AFR, their effects on performance.....
and how to adjust them on ns
my stock ns came with higher rpm setting, svc guy tuned it to abt 500 rpms less. now it doesn't get heated up too soon, but it gives a missing like feeling.
I just noticed something today, some guys are experiencing reserve light coming on and off after immidiete switching on and off, please check it when position is prependicular to ground and not tilted on sidestand, the sensor looses touch with fuel when its on borderline i guess, will double check that though.

AFR adjustment you need to adjust the afr screw on the carb. you might need a long flat screw driver .. located on the right side...this will allow for a richer or leaner mixture of air and fuel and will result in difference in acceleration and mileage...the combination of rpm screw and afr screw adjustments will give the best results...
