Newrider88....Use Motul 3000 4TPlus 15w50 mineral oil approx 300Rs per litre for the initial running in period and trust me its a very good mineral oil.
True the service guys will not entertain such oil changes apart from normal free services etc.
also, what sort of hard break in method did you deploy on your bike could you explain for knowledge sharing reasons, also do let us know the results of such a break in.

I got my Pulsar 200NS on this Dusherra. From day 1, I was facing the problem of air leakage from the rear tyre. In 2 to 3 days the tyre goes full flat...
I got it checked with puncture walas but nothing was found. During the first service I mentioned that but they too checked the valve and other things but nothing was found.
Today I took it to a old known puncture wala at a petrol pump near to me. He checked it thoroughly and found a cut on the tyre just near to the wheel. He suggested to take it to Bajaj and ask them to either replce the tyre or to replace the byk...

plz suggest what best can be done in this case. I tried to google Eurogrip dealers but couldnt find even a single. Suggest that one also.
Yesterday I visited TVS Tyres SVC. They checked the tyre well after dismantling it completely. after long hour of checking from many angles they accepted that it is a manufacturing defect and they will replace it. But the distributor confirmed that this tyre is currently not available in stock in Delhi/Haryana nor in Ghaziabad TVS depot and will take time to deliver.
Till then SVC people have pasted a patch on the inner side of the tyre using the feviquick/elfy. And did repairing work on the outside as well to avoid air leakage till the tyre comes.

Isnt it strange that such a tyre is not available in this big geographical area.

The oil you have mentioned is synthetic and as far as i know we should use mineral oil till 2000 km ( correct me if i am wrong). Regarding break in, i am not using 40km/h recommendations of bajaj, i am careful about following things.
I do not ride before proper warm up.
I do not ride at low speeds on high gears.
I do not run my bike at constant speed.
I do not accelerate hard unless i have done at least 3-4 km.
Other than that i relined once after i have ridden 7 km with short duration of high and low rpm. I constantly vary engine speed and use engine braking sometimes.Max rpm i use is 6-7 k (rarely ). In short i am not riding soft neither too hard. After the engine oil change i am not going to rev my bike hard till 500 km and redline till 1000 km at least.
Results after 140 km, there were vibrations on rider seat in 1st and 2nd gear when my bike was new, now they are completely gone but can't say much as 140 km is too low to comment.
I am loving my NS

Motuls 3000 4T Plus 15w50 is a mineral oil, i have double checked it, do not bother about it. Semi synthetic oils are 5100 in motul and fully synthetic is 7100.
You can check in any Royal Enfield service centres for this oil in your city.

Thanks for the images.. But it is incorrect info..

For ex- there is no bike called ktm duke 350.... What benefit can 300V provide to a RE.....btw..300V is a racing oil and its benefit in street bikes can be argued upon....

For PUC (I'm assuming Pollution Under Control), it depends on cities. In Hyderabad its 6 months validity. Also, for the filter just make sure you take the filter out next time and check for metal shavings. If you find fine silver dust in your filter, replace it. Nothing more is needed. Keep it running on mineral atleast 7000Km, then you can go for FS.

Manufacturing defect should not be closed with Fevikwick patch job. Bike tyres undergo severe stress in Indian roads, and sudden blow out can cause huge balance issue to rider. Better get that fixed with replacement and if not, go for industrial grade rubber based sealing compound. Jugad work is not recommended for tyres atleast.

What's the normal rpm without choke? If it is 1.5 then with choke it goes high as 3-4

Without choke it is 1.5 k ( adjusted it myself), with choke it is 4-5k.
