2. There is a creaking sound coming from the front disk in low RPMs. What might be the problem in a new bike?
Showroom person told me that it's not illegal. It can be done for 4k bucks, we can change to any colour we want. We just have to inform the RTO.Originally posted by broken87 View PostSlip on ? exhaust u mean ? does it not make NS sound so loud that your ears may explode. Only have to inform the RTO ? they don't do any changes in the RC ?Inform RTO??? They are no teachers in school or managers in offices to whom we just inform things and then get on and say inform kiya kaam chal gaaya..Originally posted by WolVish View Post[QUOTE ] Only have to inform the RTO ? they don't do any changes in the RC ?
He said it's not necessary. I'll check with him again during my first service.

The registration book/card has to be changed and trust me with govt offices these things are not as simple as they should be..
So unless the RC is changed by govt officials then change of color or engine capacity of a bike/car is not legal.. (I am only talking making things legal).. Many people have done such and have been riding/driving care-free and are in no trouble... I only wanted to point out what I knew..

Re: Want to change colour - Any ideas?
Adjutable levers are pretty pricey rightOriginally posted by csajal View PostInteresting... why did you buy the Red one in the first place... you could have bought the Blue or the Black one and could have saved the cash that you now want to invest on changing the color in some meaningful mods like a slip-on, Projector, lighter and adjustable levers, Steel Braided Brake line etc

are you planning on buying a whole new set of the plastics??Originally posted by shylesh View PostIf I have bought the Blue/Black one, Now I would have asked you the same question interchanging the colour's place in the question. Just bored seeing the same colour, I plan to keep my red colour plastics untouched so that I could use them after a year
Actually got a bit of a cash from my dad and decided to spend in on my bike now. Planning to adjustable levers as well. Do you suggest a Steel braided brake line? Is the necessary?
Suggest me other mods as well and provide me the links of related threads.

Re: Want to change colour - Any ideas?
If you ask me, changing the color to something that's being already provided by the manufacturers doesn't tickle me much. If you want to change the color or look of your bike, then challenge yourself, get a little more creative and make the bike look exclusive. With the same color, you can go for a custom graphic job or stickering.. If I would have the cash (lucky you.. your Dad gave you the extra cash), I would have gone for something like a Matt Red, with custom Golden Tribal flames on it to make it look more interesting. So, basically you would be still having the Red mentioned on your Registration Card, but at the same time, your motorcycle would be looking way of exclusive than any of the Reds on the road. Having said that, it's only my own opinion, you are the best judge of how you want to make your bike look.Originally posted by shylesh View PostIf I have bought the Blue/Black one, Now I would have asked you the same question interchanging the colour's place in the question. For the Steel Braided lines, well it's not absolutely necessary, but having those gives you that extra punch and feed back in braking. I'm using Steel Braided Lines, both front and rear and I know the difference.... it's huge and it's fun
Well pal the best things in the world are either costly, not available or married to someone else. Exclusivity always comes at a priceOriginally posted by Hari Rajan View PostAdjutable levers are pretty pricey right

Well, Slip Ons or Custom Exhaust or Full Systems what you might want to call them, they are musical instruments attached to your motorcycle which double up with the duty of performing as an exhaust also. How you want your musical instrument to sound and which kind of instrument you might want to have is totally upon you. For example, you have the soul shattering Race GP Growlers and you have the Rumbler Yoshimura. I personally like a Bassy Throaty exhaust note rather than being out and out loud. The one that you saw might have been the rider's own personal preference, but that in now way means that all slip-ons are like that. I've tested a custom made end can on my NS and body did I love it or what. It was Rumbling, Bassy and Throaty and gave that low-end boost to the power delivery. Planning to have those pretty soon now on my NS.Originally posted by broken87 View PostSlip on ? exhaust u mean ? does it not make NS sound so loud that your ears may explode. Re: Pulsar 200 NS
I have noisy front console vibrations between 4k and 5k RPM. I had asked for this to be fixed during my second service, and they are back again in less than a week.
Does anyone know what exactly needs to be tightened to fix this?

Use your commonsense, and find which fiber parts are vibrating by doing hand inspection. Use double sided tapes between those panels. You are done.Originally posted by itsnotv View PostI have noisy front console vibrations between 4k and 5k RPM. Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Hello,
I was in conversation with the Bajaj Showroom here in Visakhapatnam - AP
And to my surprise they said they don't have stock for pulsar 200NS. When asked why they said.
"Sir, we have received a lot of complaints about the bike and a lot of mileage issues were recorded. Presently the company has stopped manufacturing the pulsar 200NS and we are not sure if there will be a new model upgrade with all the fix or they will permanently discontinue the bike and come up with something new with a different name."
In the same conversation he also mentioned about a new pulsar 350 FF launching next month.
So that's final in Andhra Pradesh no more pulsar 200 NS make2012 available for sale brand new.
