bought on 05/09/2013, completed 16000km by march 21,2013. took rest till about july and till date completed 19000km

    Like:
    1. bumble bee, looks. bought the bike just within 3 hours after seeing it for the first time.
    2. superb handling.
    3. comfortable seat and seating position, good for highways and within the city. had a long ride of 500km ride and felt as fresh as when I started from home(except for the hard clutch). no back pain or fatigue at normal speeds of below 90.
    4. petrol cannot be stolen so easily.
    5. good mileage of around 45 in city and around 50 on highways even after completing 19000km.
    6. cheap spare parts in the sense of price.
    7. awesome acceleration.
    8. good hard compound tyres which have good resistance to punctures and wear.
    9. sturdily built frame and other hardware.

    Did not like:
    1. hard clutch.
    2. vibrations that loosen the screws at some places which need tightening atleast every 5000km.
    3. below average performing crash guard.
    4. console buzzing. hard to get completely rid of.
    5. eurogrip tyres perform worse in cold and humid and wet weather. no feedback at all.
    6. ugliest, malfuntional/almost non functional mud flap.
    7. dumbest svc mechanics with dumbest possible explanations to their mis-diagnosis of simplest problems.
    8. dumb dealers that service the bike at bajaj svc instead of the bajaj probiking svc.

    Would like:
    1. if bajaj could make the bike vibe-less if not vibe-free.
    2. give better training to their mechanics.
    3. provide better stock tyres.
    Replays to you
    About LIKE
    1. I don't like its design. but purchased within 15 minutes
    2. Good handling. (the only reason for a fast decision).
    3. Depends person to person (I mean height)
    4. Humm ... I had lost about Rs 400 worth petrol within 15 minutes of parking
    5. 42 by sane riding. 38-39 on ripping (awesome)
    6. I don't know about it. I have heard that Bajaj spares are cheaper than others. our bike too, is it?
    7. YeaaaAAAAAA
    8. I my opinion it is medium compound, but no punctures until its replacement (I had replaced my tires within 10K KMs, without any stunts )
    9.

    About dislikes

    1. Me too ( I had a Honda, before this )
    2. only screws ??????????
    3. crash guard bolt replaced third time
    4. Use double sided stickers, as I does. put some amount of oil in to your key hole. ( Now I haven't a single vibe sound from console even @ 10K RPM)
    5. I had made a breath taking braking from 110 KM/hr in rain (I had mentioned it earlier). Now using MRF Zapper Q @ back & stock tires @ front
    6. no comment.
    7. 8. every dealers are same

If u find replacing brake lines, upgrade your Brake oil to BOSCH DOT-4 or Castrol DOT-4

Now no more squeaking noise in front and rear brakes...
All we did was changed the brake lines and brake fluid...
    still
by my commonsense, steel braided lines make our brakes more powerful & easily lockable due to its non-projecting nature
I wish if I am the only rider in roads !!!!!
So I can red line my bike all the time

It may be reduced by many tweaking, but cant remove ....
I mean by "remove", that to make ours as a normal commuter or sports bike.
We are all used to it. but still it exists.
The one & only "common" drawback of our machine
Please keep it in mind & do not justify its vibes...

no offense, of-course. please dont feel any thing hard. & I will not replay to any of your opinions regarding this.
No Sir, Today I must tell you that I actually work for Bajaj Auto and my job is to spread false information around... just to trap new customers looking into NS you know. I must tell them a big lie that our newest product, NS is a vibe free bike. Who cares about complaints later on.

jokes aside, I never said NS is vibe free. didn't justify it's vibes, instead only mentioned where you experience most of the vibes, Yes it is one and probably only real drawback of NS' engine. Never said we can completely remove the vibrations. can only be reduced.
You say "I mean by "remove", that to make ours as a normal commuter or sports bike.".. commuters vibrate to some extent too, try them. redline them and be surprised. and What u mean by sports bike anyway ? inline-4cylinder?
      don't be mad, don't misunderstand someone's post.
btw, spknair, everytime I take a top speed run on the Expressway, going WOT & redlining in 5th,going maximum in 6th gear. My bike is surprisingly smooth as smooth can get, while many bikers with different bikes report vibrations to be maximum when you're around top speed limit. Could you have any explanation as to why my bike feels vibe free (except handle bars) in a top speed run ?

Most vibes are felt in 1st 3 gears. 4th gear u don't feel much vibe, 5th & 6th gear, almost vibe free for me in entire rev range.
Well i dont feel any vibes while driving.. Was driving all time like 40~60

yeap.. it depends upon the braking style...
Also when we removed the front brake like, it was like a rubber tube...
so light and prone to get cut easily if some tries to do so...

that's good then. i usually also maintain the same speed and find any vibes non-bothering.

Ya I meant I don't find vibrations at those speeds (if any) to be bothering.

the bike surely vibrates while redlining in 5th,and i dont think claiming about the bike being smooth in top end is a good idea coz riders wont bother a bike vibrating under stress, that is,redlining, but the Ns shows vibes in the low end of the powerband and spreads upto 5k which is where normally a bike would feel smooth.ppl dont keep on redlining a bike in top gears as often as they use the bike in lower revs. who cares about bike vibrations after 130kmph?i personally dont, all i care about is the speedometer climbing. even after 5k there are vibrations, but the loss of torque knocking feel disappears and the bike pulls easily after that, doesnt mean its smooth. the NS has huge vibrations, i lost 2 foundation bolts due to it,a friend lost a crash gaurd bolt due to it.every Ns owner i know(Naked Wolves) and every svc i have gone too,NS vibrations are discussed in one tone!

Of late this thread is all about grumbles regarding Vibes. Yes, there are vibes but are they really intolerable? While riding the bike is that all we experience?

I for one believe that if the bike is tuned properly, the vibes can be subdued to an extent. After getting my bike tuned by couple of knowledgeable mechanics, the vibes has reduced drastically. We just need to accept veracity for what it is instead of moaning about it. I appreciate my bike for what it is rather than scratching my head for what it could have been. This is not intended to anyone. It’s just my humble opinion.

                        Keep riding mates. Cheers!

thank you everyone for your replies regarding vibes on pulsar200ns.

does vibes increase/occur when the engine is set at high idling..this is what i experienced during test ride..

BTW rtr180 or ns which is one is a proper upgrade from pulsar 150 and VFM. since rtr is 15k less than NS.

You will regret buying RTR wen it comes to Vibs...
                            it vibs at all RPM...

Me and my friend got NS and RTR 180 at the same time.
he took mine for a spin and all he said was, i should have gone for NS instead of Apache...

NS vibs are not that big..
it vibs at certain RPM range.

If your bike is properly maintained and serviced, vibs wont be seen...

I do luv RTR riding position wen it comes NS riding position...
But still, i luv my NS in rest of the things...

Guys...any idea how long does it take for both the disc pads(front and rear) to get adjusted with the calipers. Bike odo is showing around 180 kms and i still hear the squeaking noise especially when i am pushing the bike around in a silent environment( into the garage @ night)....Also i noticed that the rear disc plate is hotter than the front disk plate after the bike is ridden for 10-15 kms even though i make myself aware to remove my toe off the brake pedal when i am not applying the brakes.

Try to get the rear caliper removed and cleaned...

But for me, i changed the brake hose to steel braided and brake fluid to BOSCH DOT-4
no more sound on both disc

                                Am happy with it..
