one of my friend is planning to buy ns200. he took a test ride in chennai..he felt lots of vibes in the bike..the sales person told that the bike

was kept at more idling, so the vibes. .he is now in confusion whether to buy or not when this bikes vines at even low rpm.

even i felt the same..is it normal to feel vibes under more idling in pulsar ns.. kindly help..

BTW the bike given for test ride was a brand new one kept for reg

If you are looking for a vibes-less and niggle free experience, I wouldn't recommend the 200NS.

But if you can overlook those issues, then it's one helluva bike to own for the price you are paying.

You're the guy who'll be sneaking out of your bedroom at three o'clock in the morning to look at your bike.

i know pulsar are known for vibes mostly over 60km or so.. i feel vibes when i ride my pulsar 150 only at over 60km.

but this bike vibes even at low speeds.. the sales person told me it is because of more idling setting..

                is this true..?

2nd service completed yesterday. They didn't change the engine oil though I asked them for it they said Bajaj Oil will last longer around 7k kms. Instead they charged me 260r for coolant liquid and 150r for get chain lubed. But I how to know if they really added some coolant liquid? Is that okay? I told them to clean the chain first and than to lube it but I gave them my bike at morning and when I got it in the evening, it looks like they just washed the chain along with bike with water only and lubed it. Some mud spots still there on bike as they didn't do the proper wash.

Now I want to change engine oil along with oil filter. Which one should I go for? Motul 7100 or Motul 300 v gold?

Vibes will be reduced as you ride more and engine is broken in, and given Motul oil to run on. The sweetest vibe free spot in the rev range I found is between 5k-7k rpm. Ride it slow and "may be" u will notice the vibes, ride it at good speeds between the mentioned rev range, u won't feel much vibes, instead the terrific power delivery and the grunt will get ur attention everytime more than the Vibes. Most vibes are felt in 1st 3 gears. 4th gear u don't feel much vibe, 5th & 6th gear, almost vibe free for me in entire rev range.

                          Dear Broken87,
My humble request, Please admit that our bike having vibe-nature.
It may be reduced by many tweaking, but cant remove ....
I mean by "remove", that to make ours as a normal commuter or any basic sports bike like R15 or 150r.
We are all used to it. but still it exists.
The one & only "common" drawback of our machine
Please keep it in mind & do not justify its vibes...

no offense, of-course. please dont feel any thing hard. & I will not replay to any of your opinions regarding this.

Many of our experienced members said that, do not use fully synthetic oil under 10K KMs

Just to put my experience of engine oil:

Recently changed oil to DTS-i after using Motul oils (3100/5100/7100) for about 12k kms. The DTSi oil feels so thin compared to motul oils. If motul 7100 15W50 is taken as standard, DTSi feels like 10W30.

Good things: engine feels free and revs easily. Might be a little improvement in mileage like 1-2kmpl (have to confirm!!)
Bad thing: feels too thin and that's why engine makes more noise, gears not smooth anymore.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

& still on Bajaj oil due to its petrol mileage & pickup
