That is why i also stop myself going there as there is a difference between pro-biking mechanics and other bikes mechanic for said fish market. Pro-biking mechanics are trained for bikes like duke and others for discover. I visited Dewan Bajaj in Okhla (Opposite to Modi Mill) and found that they service Avenger, NS and other bikes of Bajaj above 200 CC in pro-biking section along with Dukes and Ninjas. And from the 4 - 5 of the mechanics working in pro-biking section 3 - 4 are really good. Also the manager and supervisor for the section respond much gently behaving like you are their personal guest.

Yesterday I had a panic braking situation and the tyre just skidded. I also want to change the stock eurogrips, I would change it to mrf revz-s the one on the R15v2 on the rear and zapper fx (fz front) on the front. They are of the same size as the stock eurogrips. Can anyone from trivandrum suggest where can I get a good deal on the stock tyres which is 801 kms old, only 3 weeks.
I too had a very bad experience with the stock tyres. Met with first accident due to panic breaking and thereafter skiding leading to a good damage to bike(handle bar, left side leg guard, gear leaver and left indicator) and almost same condition and loss in the second one too.\

Changed to MRF Zapper and after that only 1 skiding accident that too at 15 - 20 kmph due to wet surface.

Coming Soon - Royal Enfield Bullet Electra

    And so onnnn.......
Last but not the least - Hellcat X132

U can use 220F front steel braided lines for NS front and DUKE 200 rear for NS rear...
I have done the same setup, braking has been improved...
I dono how to Adjust rear brake play. Its so sensitive now...
Do you find any difference in the feedback. I have find the braking of NS and Duke the same however the duke has better feedback in my opinion (not sure why).

Yes there is a difference in it...

Try using BOSCH DOT-4 brake fluid, if u dont plan to change the brake lines..

hello m lenin fernandes, clocked 12,500 odo on my p200ns. i had this carburetor issue since 200kms i realised it lately, as all the service centre guys would say the bike is perfectly fine.
now i got a mech say that the carb needs to be tuned, he did that but after riding few kms i started facing the same problem, i wanna know how to tune the carb myself the exact procedure n evrything.
even a proper n useful link will do.
          thanks in advance

          • Pulsar 200NS K & N air filter and Re jetting doubts and queries.

Hello friends ,I live in bhopal And i want to change my stock air filter to k&n.But I couldnt find any garage/mechanic here who can help me with this change.I Have a few question which will be helpful to all ns owners as the answer to these could not be found anywhere on the web.
            1. I know there is no stock replacement air filter available for the ns.So my option is Universal Air filter range from K&N.I searched the web and found out that Rc 1060 and r1100 has been installed by some ns owners. What would be the criteria for choosing the Air filter then.Or should i just go for a RC 1060.
2.Does anyone know the jet size for pulsar 200 ns carb? If i want a bigger carb jet, which model should i go for to compensate for the excess air coming into the engine.Or can i do that by re jetting the same carb jet only,I mean by turning the afr screw and finding a good match.
3.(Kind of dumb) But where is The afr screw located ? I saw a pic in the ownership thread of afr screw but i couldnt locate it in my bike.
4.If still I am not satisfied by the increase in torque(which is the primary reason for switching to K&N) what comapny or model should i go for the bigger rear sprocket and how much will it cost?

I am not able to pin point the area the sound is coming from. Any suggestions...?? The bike has done 13k kms and the brakes have kinda lost their bite... I see that some have got steel braided lines installed, how is the feedback after them...?? Are the ones from 220 compatible with the NS as there are somewhat cheaper than the duke ones..!!

              Appreciate your valuable suggestions...

Actually the first one has a bigger carburetor so it makes more power. Mine's stock, but upjetted. It's my next upgrade.
Mine's the 5th or 6th NS to have been Joeled.
Regarding the exhaust, I need time for that. Firstly it costs just as much as all the mods I got done now. Secondly, I need to see another NS with his FFE to judge if I'll really like it. There's guessing I will.
Pros: Exceptional throttle response, better low end torque, better acceleration and the best part: Ease of cruising at blazing fast speeds. The engine feels so free.
                Cons: None.
So Which air filter did u opted for?
I am planning to switch to rc 1060.And since there are absolutely no mechANICS AVAILABLE in my city.I am planning to replace the air filter and upjet the carb all by myself.

P.S. I removed the air filter box and reinstalled it today succesfully just for trial.Once my rc 1060 arrives i might be making a DIY for replacing the air filter.

Beware my friend, i have heard some bad things about simota. They are cheap but the filteration is pathetic.
My brother's friend had one in his pulsar and he ended up damaging his piston.

Does it help with Wind resistance ???

Was on the highway , at speeds above 70kmph had too much of windblast ..the bike was highly unstable.
                      No protection from wind....
NS owners .....kindly share how you cope with windblast.

                            both had pillion on back...
My pillion has a DUKE and he said There is nothing wrong with your bike, its your Gear change which made you lose in the Drag...
Changing Gears at Red line wont make u go fast, there is a RPM range where u have to shift your Gears to get the max speed out of it..

                            Is it True?

Yes its trueNS produces maximum power at 9.5k rpm so you have to shift at 9.5k rpm And don't do drags in public roads when it has traffic you are not only putting your life in risk but also of other road users ride safe bro
