At 5'6" you can manage but need to be little careful
2. How is the suspension and handling?
3. Is it a drunkard? (Fuel Efficiency)
Very similar to P220 DTS-i figures. Wait for the complte test ride review
4. How is the feedback from the gearbox? Is it any different from the current gen Pulsars?
Everything from head to toe is new and gearshifts have a positive feel and slots in perfectly
5. How is the headlight/headlamp spread?
Haven't ridden the 55W
6. How is the riding posture and ofcourse the seat? Is it as hard as its siblings?
The seat is very comfortable and is better than its siblings. Even after 800km of ride there was no numbness. Also you have ample space to move around your butt
Duke seats are much harder than NS. One can easily spot the difference if he is taking back to back rides on both the bikes. Applicable for both rider and pillion seatsOriginally posted by chintan99 View PostHi,
The back seat is comfortable. Seats are almost like the duke, may be little softer than the duke.

Thanks a lot for answering mate.Originally posted by Shibadip View PostIt means How much does the bike cost, and whats the mileage((FE)??
Originally posted by payeng View PostService interval of 5000 Kms..!! Cool, that's same the service interval period of my Car.
It means only about 2 visits to the service center for service (provided the bike is trouble free during the 5000 kms, which I hope will be..).
According to me, Idling for around 2-3 minutes is more than ok.

In case of cold start a Carb will never match the perfection of Fi. And for your concern Choke is always there. I have used the vehicle in temperature mentioned by you. A minute of choke or idling for 2-3minutes is more than enough.

Overheating within 3 mins of idle sounds wrong.
Since this is an LC engine, in all its probability, the Fan would kick on and engine will maintain the temperature.
I think Bajaj is simply being cautious.
Do not worry, LC engines are far more capable of maintaining its ideal temperature than Aircooled or oil cooled units.
Just keep an eye out for the temp gauge on the bike. You should have sufficient warning when the engine begins to overheat.
Just be careful with the radiator, pressure wash, stones can bend its fins.
Also keep them Clean, so that you have optimal heat dissipation from radiator.
And do not forget to have fun

it does not have self cancelling indicators the rear seat is bigger than the duke whereas the front seat is almost similar to duke in dimension
I am also posting pics of yellow and blue color which i took today at the dealers place.

Seat being softer is fine but the dimensions of the seat are the same as the duke??
Oh and do let us all know if it does have self-cancelling indicators.
thanks in advance.Last edited by chintan99; 06-13-2012, 03:08 PM.

i went for a test ride of P200NS yesterday. the bike is a compact bike and once you sit on it and ride, you feel its compactness, it does not feel big like P220 once you sit on it.
the gearbox feels different than earlier generation of pulsars. its good.
the riding position is very commuter-ish, that what i felt. some may call it relaxed.
the paint-job and other things are good, but fit and finish is not what i expected. there were a few un-even gaps in body panels, specially where tank meets seat. typical pulsar like, not too upmarket kind of fit and finish.
bulb was indeed 55/60 W.
acceleration was good, though not as good as CBR250 ( this is my personal opinion as they have disconnected the speedo cable from front wheel, so speed was "zero" through my short test ride)- don't kill me for this comment, both are in different price segment and different CC etc.

Steering lock can be done on both the sides.Originally posted by Shibadip View PostThank you chintan.. That was very detailed Info..
STEERLING LOCK CAN BE DONE ON LEFT HANDLE POSITION ONLY
Thats news to me. Alas, i think naked bikes looks sexy when standed on side stand, and handle turned on right side..Also doing that makes the bike lean to a lesser degree on the left(there by less chances of scratches).
@Chintan - You can have a look at your vehicle. It should lock on right hand side.

Thank you MG sir. This was precisely what I was looking for. No self cancelling indicators?Originally posted by MG View PostMy answers in BOLD
That was Bajaj trademark in bikes I guess, plus the backlit switchgear. Who cares when the engine and gearbox is a gem.
Since our two owners are busy terrorizing the streets, I am eagerly waiting for XBHP review. MG sir, fast fast fast...

Akash Yadav
