@Teejayy : Where do you get to buy the disc lock?Originally posted by TeeJayy View PostYour safest bet would be Motorcycle security: XX6 disc-lock alarm for motorcycles, scooters & ATVs. Costs 70$.
There are local disc locks too. Those are very cheap, cannot give any insights on those though.Fly High!

Hmmn, looks like there have been quite a few changes in the production model than the test mules..
BTW, no self cancelling indicators are a let down.
@Rocket, where are the pictures man???? Sorry for being so impatient..

Thanks for the prompt reply.. lost the post as the thread races :P
so does it get too uncomfortable with the heat ?? there is not point buying a bike which gets heated up and burns your legs after an hour of drive in city.. or even a long drive of say 2-3 hours.. which will make you very uncomfortable..
and you were driving below 40/50 kmph.. and if generates heat.. then how much heat would it generate if it driven at 50-75..
don't mind if I am too critical.. its just that I'm too worried.. as I drive about a couple of hours everyday in peak traffic hours in city..
pulsar 200 ns owners comment would of great help..

@siddhesh - Head Lamp is H4, 55/60W. Bajaj site also wrongly mentions it as 35W

the specs in showroom is showing 35w...pls this doubt ...
@movies99 - its the engine heat that fan throws out. I don't find it uncomfortable but it may vary from person to person. I drive 25-30kms daily but i am comfortable with it.

@J K, my friend here is the video for you guys : Pulsar 200 NS Walk around - YouTube

What is your actual name Rocketjack?
Thanks for that information's Chintan bro.
And to first 2 Proud owners of NS, please as mentioned by guys above, please please post a video in YouTube. Start engine sound, revs and a walk around. Then post link here...
@princesirohi - posting some pics so that people can understand what you mean by uneven gaps
@MG Sir - I am also posting a picture of the same being mentioned in owners manual.Originally posted by princesirohi View Posti went for a test ride of P200NS yesterday. the bike is a compact bike and once you sit on it and ride, you feel its compactness, it does not feel big like P220 once you sit on it.
the gearbox feels different than earlier generation of pulsars. its good.
the riding position is very commuter-ish, that what i felt. some may call it relaxed.
the paint-job and other things are good, but fit and finish is not what i expected. there were a few un-even gaps in body panels, specially where tank meets seat. typical pulsar like, not too upmarket kind of fit and finish.
bulb was indeed 55/60 W.
acceleration was good, though not as good as CBR250 ( this is my personal opinion as they have disconnected the speedo cable from front wheel, so speed was "zero" through my short test ride)- don't kill me for this comment, both are in different price segment and different CC etc.
@DDsouza - Spoke with Bajaj guys today and they said till yesterday evening they have received 351 booking from Mumbai.Originally posted by MG View PostSurprised! I mentioned it after checking a production model, guess I need to check it one more time.

But saw a strange thing within first two seconds..
At start of the vedio, We see that the key is slotted in the key-hole, and the bike is off....
But next thing we see is the bike being "ON"(where all the lights in the instrument cluster come up; and the rev needle goes from zero to max); without even touching the key!!
How's that possible??
In my pulsar 150 it happened when i turned the key in ON position
P.S. Pls pardon if I did'nt clearly explain the strange thing.sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

The strange thing is due to a strange mechanism in this bike. The instrument console won't wake up even if ignition is ON. It turns ON only if the engine kill switch is in ON position. Got it ??Originally posted by Shibadip View PostThanks for the video..

At Chitan, I stay in Bangalore xD
The showroom I booked I was the 271th x(
Also I just spoke to the Bajaj Representative, and he stated it would be launched in bengaluru in 3 weeks from now x)
While the other Representative stated it would be launched in 21st of June xS
Pretty confusing, hopefully it's worth the wait xD
