That's one healthy piece of information bro. Thanks. But now that this has been established. Does it mean it's only applicable for those owners who were caught?. I heard it the same way. If it is for all who move in to KA, what will happen. What should I do now?, any idea?. I checked few days back with www.drivekool.com and these were the following that was told to me

    1. Any vehicle entering B'glore should have an NOC + Police clearance certificate (Sometimes optional, but mandatory to get NOC from your current state itself) IF U PLAN TO RE-REGISTER YOUR NUMBER . IF YOU PLAN TO STAY <1yr, NOC IS NOT REQUIRED
    2. If you plan to stay <1 year, no re-registration(number change) is required, but okay with road tax payment and RC book change of address
    3. Once you enter B'glore you get 30 days to pay Karnataka road tax (meanwhile during 30 days you can show your entry slip or logistics bills in case police catches you
    4. After paying road tax (by submitting your docs and filling form + 14% of the invoice quoted Ex-showroom amount), you have one more 30 days to roam with that receipt of paid tax
    5. During that next 30 day time, you can show that receipt to police and they will let you go. Now before this 2nd 30 days complete, you will have to change your local address and get it entered into your RC book.
    6. After these changes you get 10 more months to roam freely with your native registration...
    7. Before 1 year completion from the date of entry, you must have changed your registration to Karnataka. Numbers can be same... but THIS IS MUST IF YOU PLAN TO STAY BEYOND 1 YEAR and for such cases NOC FROM YOUR NATIVE IS MANDATORY AT THIS TIME WITH B'glore RTO LOCATION SPECIFIED

ALL THESE ABOVE RULES SEEM TO BE ALMOST SAME IN MANY STATES

www.drivekool.com was very helpful and they have option to do it fully online except for roadtax payment that has to go through DD (same old).

Now after what @nikzcool has shared, I don't know where is the break in the above said process.

Hope this helps someone as well..... I'm in mid of transfer and not sure...

Update: Now non-Karnataka owners need not pay road tax and can roam freely if stay is less than 1 year. But I'm trying to catch some agents to make sure this is true... Will update
If somehow the petition number can be gotten hold off you could pull out the entire judgement from the karnataka high court site since all judgements are uploaded there. Once in hand, you would not need to get hold of agents to confirm. Knowing the country and the tendency of fleecing unsuspecting people agents might not give the correct information.

Is the rule active? or will it take time to bring into effect?.

The court instructed the state to allow all vehicles registered in other Indian states or union territories to move freely in Karnataka for a period of one year. After the completion of the one-year period, the vehicle-owners would be charged the lifetime road tax.*

              Hi jbm_guy,

The verdict has come out only yesterday and most likely would be effective within a week.
As far as I know, printed copy of the court order is yet to come.
The verdict states that KA-RTO cannot penalise anyone whose duration of stay is lesser than an year in KA.
Post completion of one year, one is expected to pay the due taxes.
For proof of duration of stay, PUC/insurance/fuel bills/toll bills should be good enough.

Once a court order is passed the rule is put into effect immediately. The delay in implementation is most likely going to be, if at all, because the information ws not cascaded down.

My response was based on the fact whether you want to check the validity of the one year rule bro.

Yes Bro, Kind of a big relief, thanks for the Highcourt and I hope several riders will be happy. In fact I don't wanna evade from paying tax, but 30 days is too limited considering our settling period, rest work affairs etc. Post 2-3 months, I can pay them and ride with pride

                    Thanks @adhirajb, Kind of confused.
                    Thanks mate @GauravD

Brownish is normal right. I don't see anything fishy here except for the oil around (I think so) which is not good. Leakage of oil?, that's not good. But the spark plug itself seems good IMO.

                              And i have one query.
Does anyone's NS goes left when you take both your hands off the handle bar? I have asked the SVC they refit the whole front assembly but still problem resists. Also tried different SVC they said 'We are not supposed take of our hands from handle bars of NS . It is a heavy bike and it will go left.' This is the only problem i'm facing in my NS, So please throw in some more info regarding it.
same problem here i used both ns 200 today i face same problem rpm light doesnt glow when in reserve mode

Some NSs do have this issue and someone had reported resolving this issue by a replacement of the clutch cable which sounded wierd cause I suppose all ns come with a standard length but I guess his issue was resolved.

The service guys dont know worth jack shit. A bike is built to auto stabilise itself due to its mass centralization not run to one side

In the newer models the rpm light does exactly what its called.. Glows when rpm redlines. The multi functionality of it doubling up as a reserve indicator has been removed from the newer models.
