Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Bro, 10W LED gives as much light as a 60W halogen. 40 Watts...??!!Originally posted by GauravD View PostYes it is adjustable. You just loosen the nut of the lever and rotate it to suit your height bro. Although you may wanna take a test ride to make sure the breaking isn't affected.
About the 100/90 I personally would not recommend it purely due to the heat it generates and the load it would put on the battery unless you change the wiring etc. Rather along with your stock lighting go in for aux lighting of about 40W LEDs connected by a custom harness. I run 40W LEDs on mine and the combined load impact is only 0.4 volts whereas the 60/55 halogen has a load impact of over a volt. 14.4 V when lights are off to 13.2 - 4 when lights are on.
Honest advice, hard way learnt, if you go by everything the service ppl tell you you'd end up with a rattling can on your hands. They're the epitome of shittiness and laziness bro.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
thanx bro .. next time i'll try Valvoline 20w50 synthetic blend, some of my old friends using this oil in p220.Originally posted by powerShift View PostI switched from motul 5100 15w50 to Valvoline 20w50 synthetic blend since last 400 kms.
difference is,
good initial.
vibes unchanged.
it takes bit more time to increase speed post 70kmph.
vibes in foot pegs reduced a bit while cruising around 100kmph.
radiator fan comes on same as earlier.
I am not interested in motul 5100/7100 due to his price.Last edited by royal racer; 03-10-2016, 02:27 PM.

Better stick that rubber pad on the tank so that you won't crash your valuable parts on it
while braking hard, especially with a pillion who loves to lean on your back.

+1Originally posted by krixna View PostAnything ASC can't adjust is fixed :banghead:
where did you fixed those auxiliary led lamps? i don't find any other place than numberplate. there is another hole where it can be fixed, but i think it will vibrate much.Originally posted by GauravD View PostAbout the 100/90 I personally would not recommend it purely due to the heat it generates and the load it would put on the battery unless you change the wiring etc. Rather along with your stock lighting go in for aux lighting of about 40W LEDs connected by a custom harness. 40watts a pair or single lamp consumes 40w? how many bulbs each lamp has?
can you share pics where we can see the mounting and light throw?

Yeah. I get it. Where do you get them and how much do they cost?Originally posted by krixna View PostI think you didn't get what I said

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
At the least they should allow servicing of Pulsars in probiking. I still see KTM/Ninja has separate service area and work people (i hope).Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostExactly the same thoughts were hovering all over my mind from yesterday when I read this news. First of all Bajaj should open a training centre for higher capacity motorcycles. Or a different service centre with more skilled mechanics.

Umm...for me it was there on the bike when I bought it. OE at that time, I guess. When the dual tone paint version came out, it was made optional, I think. You won't find it in the spare parts catalogue. Have to go to ASC and enquire. Or Google up "Tank pad for 200 NS" to get some better, softer, funkier designs.Originally posted by jhbalaji View PostYeah. I get it. Where do you get them and how much do they cost?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I will try the vacuum mount and see. But my concern is I never trust these vacuum types... be it stickers, wall mounts, etc.. Would be safer inside a car, but on a tank of a bike?. Even the curve adhesive mount is not fitting well for our clipons...Originally posted by GauravD View PostNot needed bro... the shitheads at the ASC could be trained by us here on this forum !

That's a good idea

Boss if you do not want a complete bar like I have you could also design one... An idea which I had was the using the left mirror handle you have a rod projecting out the front for about 2 - 3 inches. Take care not to weld and use the mirror mount nut to fix it so it could be removed if needed. I saw a mount on here which gave me this idea. Plus you could use the vacuum to fix it too on your petrol tank fairing although am not sure how strong is the vacuum.
Yellow for the mirror part and red one for the tank fairing. May work
. Other than helmet, I am planning to chest mount, guess that's the only option I have.

Optional?. I didn't know that. It came along by default..Originally posted by krixna View PostUmm...for me it was there on the bike when I bought it. OE at that time, I guess. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I am tired of the Hard Suspension Setup of 200ns. Been on & off moods to sell my bike. Dont want to let go off such a wonderful beast. But my neck pain just increases coz of this hard suspension. Is there any solution to this?Pace your Ride the way to you want to Pace your Life. Both can be dangerous if taken too fast - all the time...!

Oh really?. Mine is second version (dual color). But I don't know how it is sticking. But the corners are like ready to peel off.... Have to take a look..Originally posted by krixna View PostMeans it's optional for them to fit it
In some dual tone paint bikes, it's not there.

I did know the corners of such motorbikes and bought it. Only trouble is I had to be dead slow to take potholes or road undulations... otherwise my back will get hurt.. I think krixna suggested you long back. Try reducing tyre pressure, add a gel pack for seat which might help damping some surges...reduce speeds below 15 kph on very bad roads...Originally posted by bikerahul View PostI am tired of the Hard Suspension Setup of 200ns. Resale value is very poor and you can't get this capable bike at that cost again... and with more models coming in, it will have a high level of depreciation in following years... What is your next choice if you are selling it?. I'd advice RE for good seat and soft suspension, but then you know about RE... TNT25 has very good ride quality...

I paid for 70k for 2013 and 4k odo. Not bad resale value I hope. If worry is sprains, try adding extra foams. My recent seat work instead of adding height it made potholes as matter of bump and no more big con. And as mentioned Engine is such a stellar.Last edited by Sherl; 03-10-2016, 06:02 PM.Mustard Yellow 2013 200NS - Suave Bloke in the town
