Congrats for your new ride. Glad you get the MRF one. Enjoy your ride.Originally posted by Touseef Ahmed Mohammed View PostHello all.
I am extremely sorry to interrupt if i did.
It has been 15 months i have not been active on Xbhp because i was busy as a lecturer and moved to gulf in 2015.
Had an upgrade & here is my machine, the Pulsar 200 NS. I bought the Pulsar 200 NS in january 2015.
Previous bike- Yamaha Fz-s 2011.
Sorry if the pictures are not in an angle because they were taken by showroom salesguy & a tea seller on highway
I think Philips extreme vision is the best one in 55/60. I'm using 100/90 Orbit without relay, dual horn without relay, call me stupid [emoji16] so what's your ODO reading?Originally posted by powerShift View Postjust upgraded to 55/60 Phillips vision extreme bulb. other than that, ride is completely stock.
That's sounds more encouraging to upgrade.Thanks...Originally posted by Itzli View PostThe feedback is good on repeated braking, unlike when on a rubber tube repeated braking would make the tube bulge.Put The Pedal To The Metal

Likewise bro ! But then i wonder how do I keep your foot down each time you need to. I am 5ft 9 actually.. And sitting back on the seat doesnt let me put both feet down which I am more comfortable doing.Originally posted by Tanzing Sherpa View PostI'm not so tall as you expect. I'm only 5'8.

can you please elaborate the part 'repeated braking would make the tube bulge?'Originally posted by Itzli View PostThe feedback is good on repeated braking, unlike when on a rubber tube repeated braking would make the tube bulge.
17xxx. its pre onwed ride. i got it on 15k kmsOriginally posted by Tanzing Sherpa View PostI think Philips extreme vision is the best one in 55/60. I'm using 100/90 Orbit without relay, dual horn without relay, call me stupid [emoji16] so what's your ODO reading?
bro, its not exactly about how much person's overall height, it about length of legs. believe me, ratio is different among all. my friend having exactly same height as that of me pulls car's seat 2 steps back when he drives after me. he has longer legs. this might be the case here too.Originally posted by GauravD View PostLikewise bro ! i got single bulb for 500 in 2013. mrp was 600 though. it's pair had been damaged hence i got one.Originally posted by jhbalaji View PostGimme the one more bulb. I am from Bangalore.

keep trying your luck in all car accessories shops across the city. i too did same.
its a worthy upgrade, improvement is marginal but manageable. dont expect too much from same capacity bulb.
i was planning to upgrade to 100/90 Philips rally. its cheaper even today, RS: 250. but due to unavailability of relay and ceramic holder, this upgrade is on hold.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Posting after a long time,
Do we need to take plug readings from all 3 plug(s) ?
Or just the one on right side (easy access) will suffice ?
Best,

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Get the 100/90W conversion kit for cars by ROOTS (You won't get one for a bike). Just cut off connections for one side and tape it up. The relay is built to handle 200W (2 headlights of car), which is an advantage. Any good auto-electrician or mechanic can go the wiring for you. It's 100% plug n play. No wire cutting or removing sleeves.Originally posted by powerShift View Post

I'm using 100/90W for over a year now, no troubles. Bulb I'm using is Hella Rally 100/90.

if you are getting usual mileage and acceleration and its just a casual plug chop, single plug reading will suffice. else all 3 has to be checked.Originally posted by Mr.Officer View PostDo we need to take plug readings from all 3 plug(s) ?

[QUOTE=powerShift;1217522]can you please elaborate the part 'repeated braking would make the tube bulge?'
Repeated braking increases pressure within the brake lines, a rubber one will deform with pressure and not return to its original size, as a result you will feel the brake fade.
Braided lines donot deform easily, brake does not fade.
As city traffic takes a lot of braking, after a ride of 1 hour of stop go traffic and traffic light gp's there would be a fade. For mental health..

this is the one you installed, right?
its 15w, can we replace the led in it to 18w?
can you share the pic of bulb if possible?
do you know which one among Philips rally 100/90 or hella rally 100/90 will create more heat?Originally posted by krixna View PostGet the 100/90W conversion kit for cars by ROOTS (You won't get one for a bike). Aditya N Bharadwaj has lost his life in a motorcycle accident. Happen to see this in a Facebook report.
A budding rider hailing from Mysore. Sad to see another life lost.
Ride safe, you never know what's around the corner.
P.S. This post is for everyone's notification, so that we all learn from people's unfortunate misfortune and be extra cautious while riding. Please don't entertain unwarranted drag of this post, such posts and members will be banned.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END
