Guess my prayers were answered a bit early. I got my bike in 4 hrs after leaving her at the SVC. The mechanic who ruined the tune himself repaired it. I wasn't charged a single buck for it. What had happened was he had not placed the carb diaphragm properly after decarbonisation. And fiddling with the AFR screw later simply worsened the situation. Now the idle is almost perfect. It needs a bit more fiddling to improve the response, but I'm expert enough to do that .
Thanks to @Rakesh Rok for helping me through this. Speaking to the new manager did do wonders.
Anyday bro and before you try out new things, ask some opinion from others after which you can decide. . . Anyways happy to see that you got your ride back today itself. . . In the future, I'll meet you up with my mechanic and you won't again go the SVC again after getting it serviced there . . .

    Cheers!!!

If you have fitted an HID kit or something that uses a lot of power from the battery of your bike,it is good to have device which monitors the status of your battery(i.e voltmeter, ammeter etc),just in case.
It saves you time.Instead of opening up your seat to get to the battery terminals,it is better to have a device similar to this.

Try eBay or your local auto accessory shop.

Here's one I came across eBay:

Voltmeter Mini DC 2.5-30V volt Digital Voltage Panel Meter Red LED BIKE | eBay

Keep researching for better quality and deals elsewhere if you can.

I'm no expert nor an user of NS but I can say your being misguided.

Brake pads should be good for 15k km for insane riding and you've already changed at 8k km and chain set for 30k km.

I would say do not go for it now. Wait for others response or consult other mechanic.

6000 Kms for the rear brake pad is too early. Ask them to remove the pads, and you personally check those if theres still any material left. Or, you can try to see from the rear through the caliper, if the pad is completely work out.

Regarding clutch plates, do you feel loss of power or bike not getting pickup properly. If yes then may be clutch plates could be worn. If you wheelie too often or start from 1st gear with too much throttle, i mean jerky release, that too takes a toll on clutch plates. I used to wheelie a lot on my P220 due to ample torque, but clutch plates went bust at 20000 kms.

                  Ask them "Mazaak hai bc?"
Which service station you are at ?

                  1. Clutch Plate : Do you feel lose in Pickup ?
                  As above member said.
Take your bike for now without clutch plates.

Lol, I'm on 34k kilometer now & still thinking to change the clutch plate or not.
And I'm not a sane rider

                  Do 1 thing :
ON a empty road / place. In 1st gear do quick accelerator.
                  Like we do vroom-vroooom.
See if you think the pickup is less or late. Do you feel the bike responds slowly or after you move throttle ?

Change your Gears Continuously @ 4k RPM
And Match your Speed with Other NS user.

                  2. Chain Set :
Touch the hanging chain & see if its to loose ?
If its loose it can be easily tightened.
Now look @ your rear Sprocket & check if your rear tooth are damaged / worn ?
If you can post a good quality close picture picture here of Rear Sprocket anyone can help you to make a decision.

its way too early for the disc pads to be changed, especially rear.same goes to chain n sprocket too.about the clutch do you feel acceleration loss, like you open the throttle full and the bike sound goes up but doesnt pull as much?
but the question in my mind is what the heck did you do with your bike

I too really dont know. But yes its true the bike was loosing power specially from last 4 days even after opening full throttle bike was not going above 90 - 95. Also I checked both the disc pads and both if them were finished completely and even the rear one were leaving scratches on disc plates.

I see. A question, are you the only guy riding your NS ? or someone else rides it too ? Could it be that your NS was abused alot by someone else or may be you ride really aggressively ? Stuff like this makes Pulsars look like bad motorcycles with non durable cheap component. While the truth is different.
Can't believe your clutch, sprocket teeth are worn. Do a test of your clutch, A normal 200NS should pick up right from 2k-2.5k RPM(even 1.5k) without any problems (don't just pop the clutch though). Not sure about the speed in every gear, but my NS mantains 58kmph@ 4k RPM on 6th gear. not the best but it's alright. Check yours.
About the brake pads do try to keep your right foot Off the brake pedal when riding, I spotted like several riders who'd just ride their NS with their foot on the rear brake pedal all the time, can be seen cos Tail LED lights up when they do.

                          • Re: Pulsar 200 NS carburetor settings

                            dear NSians...
From my personal experience I would suggest you about proper carburetor settings on your bike..
from these settings I am getting 40 odd mileage constantly... my turns in carburetor are 3 turns towards left...

this is strictly your choice of tuning and I have no hands in your bike or any damage hence forth

first of all see your rpm meter... set it to 1500rpm using idle screw...
** IMP: note the amount of turning for further purpose if you like to go back to your old settings
secondly ...use a screw driver and turn your carburetor screw towards right until it is turning(screwing) no more towards right side..
then turn your screw towards left and calculate the turns....
the screw will slightly be horizontal...
                            1) screw for 2 turns towards left...
2)turn your engine on and screw one more turn towards left... i.e 3 turns(2 + 1)
3)you will see the engine sound increases from its slow beat to a strong frequent one...
4)this will be your good tuned carburetor.. if you want a good pickup turn it towards left one more time (4 turns)...
5)adjust the rpm line in and around 1.2~1.5
                            6) you can turn your carburetor towards left from 3-6 turns .. for optimum performance...

I have seen that turning more than 6-8 turns will decrease the rpm level....that's where you will find out that the perfect matching of fuel and air is mismatched...

so a good optimum level I would suggest is 3~4 turns towards left and set the rpm bw 1.2~1.5

and again said ....this is completely your choice... and your willingness ....
I will have no part in your bike or its properties!!

                            yes you are absolutely right...
most of NSians ride with their foot on the rear disc brake petal...
and it is not their fault... the bike design is likely to blame...

Tire pressure can adversely impact both the handling and performance of the bike. Low pressure causes more friction which leads to more strained engine, which in turn requires more power which in turn consumes more fuel which equates ultimately to low fuel economy, yes that is one reason.

Finally good to hear someone using 7100 for 5.5k. I drained my oil at exactly 5k something. 7100 lasts well over 4k KMS easily without fuss, provided the usage circumstances. Frequent redlining and revving nature might reduce the time, but 5.5 is a little long, as I personally squeeze every drop of life from the oil and when drained it was still good, at least visibly it was brown.

But I'd suggest you change your engine oil.

                                Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                                The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
