They don't have the grunt that the original NS's have as well. They seem kinda silent...Originally posted by Aditya N Bharadwaj View Post

Thanks ankur2smart , that is comforting.Originally posted by ankur2smart View PostRelax...no1 is mad enough to do what you are imagining. The more you are scared
, more scums like him will get on your head.
Just relax man
trust me these things happen.
Well simple rule...if your frn has a good SVC in his city then I don't see any reason y he should go with zmr.
Don't know much about zmr. Only problem with Bajaj is that you would require top care for bike & a great SVC

But I still cant believe what he was trying to do . he was forcing me to go offroad at 50kmph and din seem to care.
Couple of times I had to hit sudden brake because of a bad patch of road and was looking at making me crash. All this because I was not letting him jump the signal. People with no sense of traffic rules or humanity .

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Chill man. That was probably his way of giving you a piece of his mind maybe. Next time if someone acts oversmart on the road, first memorise his registration number so that if he gets away you can track him/her down. Even try to have a good look at his/her face. So that next time you come across them you can either apprehend them and call the police or give them a piece of your fist/palm!Originally posted by pv1984 View PostThanks ankur2smart , that is comforting.

and yeah, always stay at least three arms lengths away from female drivers and trucks/lorries/dumpers. The trucks have a limited field of view and females have a limited field of judgement
. No offence to anyone.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Well firstly, motorcycle ownership experiences is more like a complaint thread. You look closely, majority of the posts are filled with complaints. The rest - mods, pics of getting the bike delivered and a few doubts. When your bike runs fine, you wouldn't complain. You'd simply ride. When you face some niggle, this is a chance to ask the experts so you post it here. That's why the thread makes the reader feel this bike isn't good. Imagine the thousands other non-xbhpians who are happy with the NS.Originally posted by broken87 View PostYea man, this thread is totally flooded with user complaints about different issues in their NS. Which i think scares off new buyers who follow this thread without posting, just to get an insight on what the user feedback is like. So basically our beloved NS thodi badnaam si hai. :/
The only real issue (for now) I have in my NS is vibration on the rear seat portion. Even that is not constant, changes with the time of the day, like today I was ripping and yet there were no vibes whatsover.. I felt like I have the best bike in the whole world lol.
Guys what if 200NS in future comes with Fuel Injection tech, these vibrations (along with other fueling related issues) will be eliminated for 99% users right ?
And when I use the word 'you', I mean in general and not you, broken87 :P
FI eliminates fuel-related issues but not the vibrations I believe. Apache RTR FI would also vibrate

Just in jest, and off topic, can't help wondering if the 375 engine fits on the NS
Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity.

yea i totally get your point, so many old NS'ians don't even visit this thread anymore (they will when the time comes lol) .. probably their bike have no issues at all.Originally posted by Aditya N Bharadwaj View PostWell firstly, motorcycle ownership experiences is more like a complaint thread. "can't help wondering if the 375 engine fits on the NS" .. lolol. good thought there.. what if it does.. can we actually put an entire engine of a particular bike on Order? haha.Last edited by broken87; 07-08-2013, 02:25 PM.

But I keep visiting the page though I have no issues. I might learn something new, or help someone out.
I just test rode the 390. I'm confused if KTM R&D is into automobile technology or rocket science!
On a more serious note, I closely observed both the 390 and the 200 dukes side-by-side for quite a while. The clamps holding the engine and the points where it's clamped are EXACTLY THE SAME. Only, the flywheel and the clutch covers seem to be different. I'm guessing it fits on the NS too
and so does the bigger radiator.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
not kidding, the bike is not smooth.i noticed the missing bolts when i was changing oilOriginally posted by rossyamaha46 View PostFoundation bolts!Dafuq?! So much vibrations?!

I have ridden the NS from the initial batches(June),and the latest one(April),(Mines from the October batch btw).,and frankly speaking, the newer one had slight vibrations near the Speedo console, thats it.As for the initial batch ones which a couple of my friends own,no problems.
The tank kit that Bajaj fitted free of cost was actually of no use.It didn't cause much difference.
but m used to the vibs now.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Hello,
Posting on behalf of my friend here, he would like to purchase the bike. So on his behalf, I conducted some research. My conclusions are that, no matter what niggles the bike possess the service guys tend to aggravate the problem, so he really wants to know a good place to purchase and service the ns in Bangalore.
So any Bangalore guys, please put in your suggestions on the matter.
Cheers
Manan.

I had no idea that 390 was available for test ride already. I might check out my nearest showroom soon!Originally posted by Aditya N Bharadwaj View Post

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Had a early morning ride in the rain after a long time....
the brakes performed really well and I did a small burnout to warm the tyre which improved the grip
