My suggestion would be to be patient and wait. Bajaj are doing everything to make NS a Flawless bike. Just trust them and wait until your first service.
another thing go to a service centre where they service KTM duke also.

@myth: its revz s bro. Got it for 2800...same shop where dip bought it for 2450... When i enquired last week he said 2450 and dip got it at that price... Now he is charging more, 2800, still the cheapest in kolkata... If you want one, buy it ASAP... Coz he might have 1 or two left... The tire is not that heavy...quite light....

But it doesn't glow, Thereby giving me the impression that the gear is slotted to the 1st position.
Also when u understand that it's just stuck at neutral, then applying more pressure dosen't make it slot to the 1st position. I have to move the bike a liitle bit forward by applying physical force, and then the gear perfectly slots to the 1st position. (I came to know this trick, from my P150 experience.) But you see, it dosen't seem to be all that simple when the cars behind keeps on honking as if they need to rush to the hospital to see their new-born child

As someone suggested half clutch shifting, its really works when shifting from 1st to 2nd.

edit : Guys , I have one query , I filled in 5 ltrs of petrol on an empty tank. After using up how much litres of petrol will it switch to reserve again? (In a simple way , I'm asking the useable reserve capacity of NS )

You can use 2.6 litres in ON i.e., Reserve capacity of NS is 2.4 liters.

do you experience the dead spot once you start the bike? or its persistent all day long?

                      • I have had my NS for 4 days till now.

My mileage figures were like 52 when riding at constant gear shifts and keeping it in the most smoother and responsive rpm which was around 5000rpm, while in city i got 45 with relaxed riding and when rippeed hard 37kmpl.

There are some issues of slight vibration in lower gears, the rear mud flap looks ugly( I noticed that when the mechanic was riding), the coolant in the radiator is almost near min. level, no centre stand, no hook of any kind under the seat to hang the luggage.

What do you guys mean by dead spot ?

                          • had the first servicing done.. took along the Motul oil and they changed it without any issues and let me be there with the bike..

coolant level had again fallen to minimum level (topped it up just one week back).. mechanic said its not an issue as there is air in the radiator which at times shows a higher level and when its not there the coolant is actually in the radiator and not the expansion tank.. dont know how logical that sounds but the mechanic was sure that it is not an issue as long as the fan is working fine.

for those who are facing the low oil indicator issue like me, there is some confirmation.. the mechanic said Bajaj is sending them a new part (looks like a nut) with rectified dimensions and will be replaced for free for all facing this issue.. he had the new part which he showed me but it was promised to another guy..

Out of 2.6L, 1.8L is usable. Confirm it from manual.

It often takes a humiliating overtake to understand that an early jump off the red light won't help them lead the pact. All I want to say is - Go after green.
