Yes exactly, I think we should encourage every NS rider not to remove RMVs from their bikes. How can one get to know the situation of the rear traffic without RMV. For instance if you are changing your lane, without RMVs how would you look back(not every time will a rider turn his head around). I see tons of people at road without RMVs & they way they change lanes is just awesome..no cares what so ever of the car or bike in back. Please guys get your RMVs back onOriginally posted by surojit View Post

I don't know the figure...cuz first of all we need a Dyno for that...& an NS with KT 1211 filter fitted on it...Originally posted by surojit View PostCan you quantify the increase in power????
but provided that I have the money to buy it , I'd definitely do so...its totally worth the roar & the breathable feeling of the bike...
A lot of people have said this...but the Air filter on the NS is located under the tank cover, which , I suppose , kinda protects the air filter from the dusty Indian conditions to some extent...also if we assume that the stock OEM paper air filter provides 100 % filtration then a K&N is not far behind with 97.5% filtration ( I read this somewhere...not sure where though )...maybe the people who face problems due to K&N air -filters are actually having problems with improper fitting of the filter...Originally posted by myth2104 View PostMore power output ...agreed, but the K&N filter lets more air flow and hence provides less filtration resulting in dust elements entering the area. Racing bikes use such filters because the engine opened up every now and then but the street bikes' engines are rarely opened to clean. So the foreign elements stay inside the engine.

I have absolutely no plans to fit it back no matter what.... Why should I worry if it sprinkles the rider behind me!!Originally posted by surojit View PostCan you quantify the increase in power????
Brother, please use multi quote option... saves a lot of space... If you dont know how to do it... please google it....
Let the rains come... you would have no option but to fit it back....
Removing RVMs is not a wise thing in my opinion.... atleast when you are riding in the highway or in city (well I mean riding anywhere
) ...

well buddfy u will surely change your mind once to riode in rains... forget your pillion....think of your console getting dirty... wana know how?Originally posted by pravin.murthy View PostI have absolutely no plans to fit it back no matter what.... Why should I worry if it sprinkles the rider behind me!!
coz water and mud will come from behind you over your head and land on your console... so naturally, you can imagine what will happen to the rider's back and helmet.... even i dont have my hugger installed and learnt my lesson... so whenever it rains, i make it a point to fit it... you simply cant run the bike without hugger in rains....
you will need the centre groove in sand and water... in water it will channel out the water from beneath and in sand it will work as a groove to sit in the sand... without centre groove, it will just float over the sand with zero traction... a good option for ns front tyre replacement is the front stock tyre from pulsar 220/180.. zapper fs 90/90 - 17... it is arguably one of the best front tyre available in the country today... holds damn good in offroads. sand and water and is quite grippy...Originally posted by Aditya N Bharadwaj View PostBut why? What would happen without it?
well 90 kmph comes at exactly 6k rpm, and 100kmph comes at ditto 6.7k rpm...Originally posted by Aditya N Bharadwaj View PostYep, the speed limits mentioned are crap for this bike. And btw, 80, 90 even 100 km/h for maybe a few seconds during run-in wouldn't harm anything don't worry
make it a point not to redline. I used to top myself at ~90km/h after 1st service when I'd get the chance. That's like ~6.5k rpm in 6th gear which would have in no way harmed the engine. How many kms have you completed?
why get it from delhi...? its available over here... he is asking 600 for it... and the mrp is 517 what i saw in this thread... can anyone please cpnfirm the exact mrp which is printed on the stand carton...?Originally posted by myth2104 View Post@Delhi NSians- Where is the nearest svc Uttam Nagar or Paharganj? I basically want a centre stand from there. ThanksThis Tail Is Japani Tail (spell as you like)

And what about the people on road that are driving on their own bikes behind you. Forget about being a good driver, try and be a good human being atleast. When the same thing would happen to you from someones else`s bike, people like you start cursing them without even realizing you have been doing the same for years. Am sure you would enjoy sprinkling water over a guy who is 40+ going to his office.Originally posted by pravin.murthy View PostI have absolutely no plans to fit it back no matter what.... Guys like you , deserv only and only a bikecycle. The good news, it doesn`t need a mud guard so you can take it of .

Here is chronic problem my ns has been facing for the past 4000km. Whenever it is going on the potholes there is tak tak sound as if some part has become somewhat loose. the coneset/racer is fine, the forks seem to be fine, the chain sprocket set is as it was when new. the ASC guys also cannot locate the problem source. If someone faced the same problem and got it solved, please post it. the sound gets irritating some times.
It is not present on flat roads but is present on even slightly uneven surfaces.BreaklessBiker

ATGATT! There are many wonderful riders/drivers out there who would intrude in your riding space without any notice. Be prepared. Stay Safe.

Well in the end it's your personal decision what you want to do with your bike. I would again recommend to think again during the rainy season. Lastly I hope you are not from Bangalore cuz I have seen people banging bikers with back parts like thatOriginally posted by pravin.murthy View PostI have absolutely no plans to fit it back no matter what.... . Happy riding

I had the same issue and got it sorted. Ask the SVC guys to see if front fork rubber is missing. It costs Rs.25.Originally posted by surampudijagadeesh View PostHere is chronic problem my ns has been facing for the past 4000km.
