Another pic of my NS with the Fazer visor. Spray painted over the silver brackets with black paint and it looks a lil better now. Spray can cost me 190/-

Was supposed to remove the visor once I returned from my recent trip to Malwan but realized it helps deflect the cold winds in the mornings when returning from work recently. While riding home a couple of days ago at about 6 in the morning, there was a real chill in the breeze. Although I was wearing a jacket, helmet & gloves, was still feeling quite cold. Hugged the tank more closely and crouched below the visor...made a huge difference. Was immediately more comfortable and thanked the visor for helping make the small ride a little better.

A couple of friends feel that the bike looks better with the visor while a few have yelled at me for "spoiling the naked looks" of the bike.

I personally feel it adds to the aggressive looks of the NS...and more importantly is functional

Am on the look out for a little bigger visor that gels well with the bike's looks and that adds a little more protection against wind blasts...Crossing my fingers

"adds to the aggressive looks of the NS".. Hmmmmmmm.
Riders who put on these jugaad visors on Naked bikes, In the process, completely spoiling the entire look of the bike just for a false sense of feeling that you're being greatly protected from the wind blast. Lol I ask, Why not simply get a proper riding jacket instead ? Try it once n feel the difference.
Can't imagine riding the NS with this horrendous looking visor, would be so distracting for the supermoto style riding position we have.. Some things are meant to be used in the way they've been designed to. Fiddle with it, and you lose a lot. plus the spoiled looks.

        Thanks for your kind comments.

FYI, I own a DSG jacket which I think qualifies for a "proper riding jacket". Have been using it since the last 4 years. I never ride long distances without the jacket. It's quite vain of you to assume things just on the basis of one pic and one post. I feel sad for people like you who think they know everything. Like I mentioned in my post..."some like it, some don't"... I tend to like it...

Since you clearly have access to the internet, please do a little research before trying to put down someone. This is a forum to share ownership experiences which is what I have done. If a little "jugaad" gives me a sense of protection, I'll happily do it again. Don't recall borrowing money from you or anyone to purchase my bike...so will happily do what I feel works for me...

Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. The world could do with a little less negativity and constructive criticism is welcome but criticism just for the heck of it is just a waste of time.

Ride Safe...and wear your jacket at all times

Theres that look of an adventure bike somewhere there.. At some angles.. It looks brilliant. Other angles, though, you feel its completely wrong.. but i think its the shape of the visor, mostly.. But the functionality it gives is superb..

Got them fixed.. Initial feedback: Theyre freaking bright!! 55w bulbs inside. Best part is that they're replacable. Also the angle can be adjusted. They fill up the left and right sides, greatly increasing visibility. Battery seems to be holding them up very well [ i have hella dual horns too, theyre a bit lower in sound now- good in one way..] But not to risk it, im being conservative on my usage of the lamps..

The lights look awesome brother. But could you click a picture of the light spread and with installation how much did it cost? How much extra wiring and cutting of bike's wiring did it take? Did you get it installed at the same place you bought it?
I am looking to get similar setup for my bike so any details will be greatly appreciated.

Didnt take much splicing of wires.. sorry dude, but ill take some time to post it, since i dont have a camera- brick phone. 2m extra wire was needed. and no, the place where i bought it was a car accessories shop. I got it done with my regular mechanic. Did a good job. The holder of the lamps are flat, so couldnt fix it to the crash guard properly. Then he came up with an idea of using mirror clamps. It fits well on the crash guard. Tight, the angle is free to be adjusted too..

Push started my bike and it started.. acted like nothing had happened..
Got my battery checked and battery wala said battery was ok..
Now battery is showing proper reading of 12.5 volts when bikes off and dips to 12.4 when bike is switched on along headlight at high beam..
Any idea what might have caused this?
No aftermarket headlights or horns present on bike..

Sent from my LT28h using xBhp Connect mobile app
Check with fuses near the battery. For checking you need to remove the Left side cover. Find the below picture for reference to remove to cover.

Cool mate. Does it use a relay? And what was the total cost, with installation added?

I didnt use a relay, direct connection Come to think of it, i should've used one, right?? damn.. The bulb was around 750/- for the pair.. Installation costs i cant say, since i serviced my bike also at the same time... I can estimate it to 200/- for the light fitting..

                          Hi,

One of the hind indicators has broken. I assume that while getting down, someone knocked it off !

Will it be refixed? or do i have to replace it ?

Replace. NS indicators are hard plastic single piece types.
