Will be getting my yellow NS200 on Friday. I am a Born again Biker and am looking forward to a great experience. Lots of changes have happened since my last good ride- my RD350. Owned a P180 for a year, though it was something that happened by accident and not by desire. My wife is also highly excited and she was the one to choose the NS over the Duke. We are looking forward to a great riding experience and plan to log some long overdue miles on the NS.Last edited by karthik2504; 08-16-2012, 08:19 PM.

Atleast you know a date now.. so.. that is good.. and congrats!Originally posted by Rahulbarik View Post@govind.one: myth and dip from kolkata will be getting before me and shibadip....
bike looks killer in blue...
Happening with me as well.. odo is at 183 kms.. max speed reached was 72kmph (speedo indicated).. Changing engine oil is good, you can get Dts-i oil.. and replace it yourself.. otherwise, get Motul 3100 20W50.. but I wouldn`t recommend it.. wait for first service.. change oil at 400 kms if you think it is a must.. but, stick to semi synthetic till you cross 5k kms..!!Originally posted by sagar_phoenix View Post@Stephen the dealer will get an appropriate response from bajaj. And you should buy it at the other showroom. No point in waiting when the bike is available!
@other owners My odo is at 126 kms. The bike's engine seems strained at 2k-4k Rpm while accelerating and engine braking
once I open up the throttle to 4k-5k rpm it Is smoother. The maximum speed i reached is 63 kmph. never took it beyond 5k rpm as well.. Should I change my engine oil now?? Hope I get a response from you all..
@Stephen: wait till the dealer calls you up and say all the sweet sweet stuff.. but, don`t compromise until they say the date..!!
Went on a little trip of 40 kms with a friend.. attaching pictures..!!sigpic

OK! I have decided to wait till tomorrow evening. I am pretty sure that I would get calls from both the dealer and the customer care, and I would obviously remain adamant on the delivery of the bike on 17th itself! They should not have asked me to make the payment if their dealership gets the least preference in INDIA!
Its not the speed.....it is all about the skill !!!!

1. Check for scratches, welding patches, tyres and engine oil levels.Originally posted by shrey-arora View Postthis post is to thank @mg sir and all the other moderators and members for their reviews and making me select this bike.
i have booked my p200 and will get delivery in a few days. few questions (a novice here)
1.what all things do i keep in mind while taking the delivery??
2.what type of petrol do i use for good performance/mileage?
3.do i need to buy some accessories? or any type of engine oil etc.?
4. i heard some people saying that in run in period they took their bikes to 70 for few seconds for varying the sped.is it good to do so??
thanks in advance
p.s for the delhi people :is any dealer offering any discount, free gift etc.( mine is giving me a free rain cover)
2. Use any petrol (normal unleaded or premium) it wont make a difference.
3. Not immediately with your bike....but if you are willing to change the oil after a few 100 kms, then you can buy it.
4. It won't harm your bike and to some extent is good for your engine parts to set in. So you can try it too.
Booked??? I had done it on 9th March 2012!!Originally posted by govind.one View PostI will send pics if necessary.. promotion purpose.. idiots.. Yellow is the highest one manufactured.. said Jai Auto!
Booked yours??..
Congrats dada!!!
Lovely review!!!
Waiting to see pictures from you soon..!!

And I could've been the first one in West Bengal only if he had a yellow color.Last edited by myth2104; 08-15-2012, 10:06 PM.
