and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

        • MY EMAIL TO BAJAJ

Hoping that I would get a reply soon

Sub: Dissatisfaction in the service of a Bajaj Dealer

          Sir,

I am writing this mail with utmost dissatisfaction in the service provided by a Bajaj dealer.

          I am a customer of:

          SARATHY BAJAJ,
          SARATHY MOTORS,
          PALLIMUKKU,
          KOLLAM,
          KERALA.
          Ph: 9847532165; 0474 2728319 ,2728675, 2728965

My name is Stephen Cherian and I booked a YELLOW PULSAR 200NS on 23rd JULY,2012. I made the full payment of Rs 88,800 for the bike on 8th August 2012 ,on the condition that they would deliver the bike on FRIDAY(10th August 2012) . On Thursday (9th Aug)noon, the Sales Adviser called me up and said that there was no yellow bike in the load that arrived on Wednesday ,and told me that I had to wait till Monday(12th August) to get the bike. I agreed to this . But, on Saturday, when I called them up again to confirm the delivery, they said that there was no Yellow bike in the new load too. Even though I got angry at their act, I asked them to confirm it for the FINAL time when I would get my bike. They then promised me that Friday ,17-8-2012 would be their deadline. They assured me this when I called them again on Tuesday.

Today afternoon, the sales adviser called me again and told me that the Bajaj company is having some trouble in producing yellow bikes and they are not dispatching yellow 200NS at the moment. They also told me that they cannot confirm the delivery of my bike on any specific date at the moment.

Until the day I made the full cash payment on 8th, the showroom representative used to call me every day and tell me that they are ready to deliver the bike on the next day I make the payment. Now, they are actually harassing me with their actions.

I never thought that the dealer would behave in such a manner when I made the payment in advance. I showed all cooperation and respect whenever they called me. It seems that I made a mistake in opting the dealership. I have asked another dealer from the same region when they are ready to deliver the bike today and they said that they have Yellow bike in their new load.

I request the customer care to intervene in this issue and make sure that fair treatment is given from the dealers to the customers. I also request you to provide me the bike on the ASSURED DATE itself. I have been bearing this nonsense behavior from Bajaj Auto dealership for more than 2 weeks now. I am even thinking to go for legal action against the dealer. Please help me out.

You can contact me on this mail-id or on my phone: +9198XXXXXXXX.

          Yours faithfully,
          STEPHEN CHERIAN

Yeah@! I got very angry and called the showroom owner now!! I blasted him on the phone! did not even allow him to reply. Told him "I AM COMING TO THE SHOWROOM ON FRIDAY....I want my bike. If u cant give it, give back my money!"...he agreed!! Hope he wont deduct any amount from the billed price.

Called the Alappuzha showroom after that. They have yellow bike in stock and are ready to deliver it NOW itself!!

                            • @Stephen the dealer will get an appropriate response from bajaj. And you should buy it at the other showroom. No point in waiting when the bike is available!

@other owners My odo is at 126 kms. The bike's engine seems strained at 2k-4k Rpm while accelerating and engine braking once I open up the throttle to 4k-5k rpm it Is smoother. The maximum speed i reached is 63 kmph. never took it beyond 5k rpm as well.. Should I change my engine oil now?? Hope I get a response from you all..

Its alright, the parts are setting in , oil will have metal shreads and all, so dont take it to much higher rpm, 5-6k is fine, take it to 70 at times, no problem in that, just dont keep it in that speed for prolonged period of time.
And changing oil is not a necessity, but if you can, its well and good, can be done from your home itself, 5 min job only it is.

                                Cheers
