yes, am new to pulsar........ and thanks for your reply..... may i know why the clutch is so hard to handle?[/QUOTE]Are you new to Pulsar ???
It is noisy
P200NS is more noisy by its drive chain. let it lubricated every 300 KMs
I suggest "release-on" chain lube, which is economical & great. I haven't used MotulLast edited by gugan raj; 05-19-2013, 08:26 PM.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Well the only other pulsar I've ridden is a well maintained 30k kms old pulsar 220 (friend's). It's got vibrations too but in a different league. It's handle bar vibrates a wee bit but doesn't buzz like mine. It's front fairing makes a slight sound at 4k rpm and I guess I can generalise that to all pulsars. You might wonder why I called it a well maintained one then. Well I haven't yet seen another pulsar with more kms on the clock and still having a sparkly body, a surprisingly sound (others, not exhaust noteOriginally posted by spknair View PostJust by curiosity.....
Have you ever ridden other Pulsars ???
ie 150, 180 or 220 ??
Can you compare with those ( vibrations; not vibrating sound
)
) engine and a loving owner. But vibrations were part and parcel of old pulsars (as I've heard) and *my* NS's buzz-vibrations are near nothing compared to *that* 220. There's another reason for my buzz vibes. There's an extra part in the headlamp assembly, the ballast for the HID.
It's a bike man, not a Maglev for you not to feel any vibrations. Even the R15 and CBR come with a few vibes.Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity.

Hey guys!
Joel (race concepts),had posted on his FB page about a tweaked 200NS(Blue). It belonged to the NAKEDWOLVES.
He has not yet given the list of tweaks and the power and torque outputs that the bike makes now. Has anyone seen or has ridden this bike?
Please shed some light on this!

Yes Dude ....Originally posted by princesirohi View Postwhat ......??...? .....rofl....!!

Bus drivers in our state will not use clutch after 3rd gear
(by their words from 2nd gear. 1st gear is rarely used)
Especially private buses..
They changing gears with a synchronization of accelerator
Actually I am eager to ride your bikeOriginally posted by Aditya N Bharadwaj View PostWell the only other pulsar I've ridden is a well maintained 30k kms old pulsar 220 (friend's). but Mysore is about 300 KMs from here
I am still
. are you talking about vibrating sound??? I am not...
My NS doesn't make even a single vibrating sound, because I have used double sided tape to all panel joints
We are a group of 20 bike owners.
out of which 2 of them are 200NSs, two 220s, 8 are 180s and five 150s
Many of them are well maintained
My elder brother uses 150r & younger brother using R15v2Last edited by spknair; 05-20-2013, 04:01 PM.I wish if I am the only rider in roads !!!!!

Dude, it's high time yaar... change the oil to any other brand. Motul 5100 or 7100.Originally posted by gugan raj View Postsorry, this is my first post, here after my posts will be clean and neat.... and always i used ride with helmet only and how can use it while roaming within my area . then the oil am using is bajaj oil only which they recommending in service centres..... oil changed in both services..(427kms and 4972kms).
And lube the chain in correct intervals.
Hmm. OkayOriginally posted by spknair View Postof-course Nooooo !!!!!!!!!!
It will decrease your clutch plate mileage, nothing more.
There is is "point" where we can shift gear without clutch. You have to be used to it, to reduce wear&tear
Bus drivers usually shift gears without using clutch
By my knowledge, it is not a fault by the petrol. (may be the quantity
)

It felt noisy& irritating only for the driver & pillion. ( but compared to duke, we are in silent valleyOriginally posted by gugan raj View Postyes, am new to pulsar........ and thanks for your reply..... may i know why the clutch is so hard to handle?

The exhaust note is different and ear catchy to others

How many people here had managed to make 0-100 within 10 seconds ???Originally posted by J K View PostIt belongs to Bangalore Naked Wolves.
He told that 0-100 performance increased.
I could do that before my carburetor change. Just above 8.5 seconds. (by gps on my phone)
I am only 57 Kgs !!
but after carb change, it becomes 10-11 seconds
Mileage is still the same. but performance reduced
So I am pretty sure that some minor tweaks will add more power to our machine without a noticeable change in fuel efficiency.Last edited by spknair; 05-20-2013, 03:32 PM.I wish if I am the only rider in roads !!!!!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
What is the point of adding side panels? Adds to the weight and makes the bike slower. Also will block the air flow and make the bike run hotter.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostThese god damn, Indonesians.

Side panels ????????Originally posted by Red_Redemption View PostWhat is the point of adding side panels? Adds to the weight and makes the bike slower. Also will block the air flow and make the bike run hotter.
you mean the fairings ????????
have you ever rode a full fairing bike like R15 or 150r (low end
)
90+ KM/Hr
Then you will know, what is the use of fairings.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
The front fairing plays the most important part in deflecting the wind off the rider – thus improving comfort and improving the aerodynamic efficiency of the bike.Originally posted by spknair View PostSide panels ????????

In my opinion side fairing without the front fairing will offer no advantage to the handling, performance or aerodynamics
It does not require me to have ridden a faired bike to come to this conclusion. Common sense is enough. We are so busy watching out for what\'s just ahead of us, that we don\'t take time to enjoy where we are ~ Bill Watterson

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
That modification looks spectatcular in a way, unless it interferes with the cooling of the bike. I also see a little piece on the number plate holder, nicely done too. Simply put that mod makes that NS look like a super naked bike. but looks too mean for a 200cc bike, isn't justified xD. Cause I hate mods where people will put stuff like Hayabusa fairings on Karizmas lol, those kind of overly done mods. But this is a neat idea if they could tweak it abit.. like remove some extra bits and keep the lower engine cowl.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostThese god damn, Indonesians.
