Happy new year People. Gifting my bike by getting it serviced.

One update from Shiva Bajaj Ghaziabad, they've finally started using shampoo instead of detergent to wash the bikes after an inspection by bajaj officials. Looks someone complained about it. I wanted to, but forgot about it

shreezan Tried alot asking for MRF tyres but the reason I was given that this sub-dealer did not have an advantage of choosing the bike tyres.. He got what the godown guys gave it to him.. Unfortunate but I guess I will live with them.. Will be a little careful..

So I changed my style of riding. From a sports bike, I rode it like a cruiser this time. Speeds around 60kmph and changed gears around 4k rpm. In city, I got a mileage of 38.81 reserve to reserve method.

Pretty decent in my opinion. Because the roads and traffic in Kolkata are the absolutely shit.

Can anyone from Kolkata tell me what mileage they're getting?

Hi guYs,
have ran my ns around 100 km having a problem.

The idle rpm keeps dancing from 1 to 3 without throttle and then kills itself mostly.
the rpm screw on the rhs is not soo firm in its position,is the the same with all.

What is the idle rpm for cold and for warm engine.
I set it to 1.5 for cold but it keeps jumping with the next kick.

Mine is set to 1.5 for warm and the cold starts at 1.

I always do a choke start in winter. I let it run for about 30 seconds to a minute. Then I stop the choke. And the engine is heated up. After that, I roll on.

Hello guys ,been away for a month from xbhp.
Now doing regular through cp of around 20kms one side on ns in morning. Man ns takes 40% lesser time than what metro takes. And that includes stop lights, corners etc .
Talking about fog ,Man o man ,couldn't see anything ahead of my tyre from 26-30 th dec .just used to find a car and stick behind it .
Many r15 ,cbr150 and commuter wanna be racers tried constantly to win over. And they did only when they jumped the red light and i stopped to follow it .but as soon as light turned green ,they used to find me already waiting on next red light.
NEVER ever jump a light, even if it is morning time and light is 200sec long. .!! Riding in speed is okay but light jumping is very dangerous.
Overall ,i thought that i will ride sanely and save some cash on petrol. But with petrol already 63 and smooth New Delhi roads, couldn't resist myself and rode all the way till 9k rpm every time i shifted a gear.
I think my ns costs me 2.50 ₹ per litre ,which includes costs of petrol+engine oil+ all other expenses on bike.
Well wish you all happy new year.
Guys ,what the f are these euroslips made of ..? I drift ,i burnout, tried everything, they just wont get wear off ,looks like will have you bear them until another 10000kms.
Ps completed 7000kms on odo ,ns stands 18 months old with me .

Yeah bro. Never jump a light - is my policy too. I saw a car (first out from a green light) hit a biker who had crossed the red light I was in. He was hurt, on top of that, slapped on the face by the Police, then they took him to hospital in the police vehicle.

As for the Euroslips...it is not soft rubber. They are built to last, so they bite less. Try Pirelli. Super grip. But will not last 10K kms, trust me. Anyhow, I managed to lift the rear wheel off the ground on my front 100/80 Euroslip, when I grabbed on the front brake to avoid crashing into the car in front which braked suddenly.

And whatever gear you are in, keep rpm below 5000

Ok got it.... I cleared 1150kms..... Once in a while I touch 57-60kmph for a fraction of seconds... Hope it's not bad for the engine..

I hear squeaking some nd from my rear wheel. Is it due to the friction from disc plate ? It's annoying....
