I have a problem. My rear brake srems to be loose and I wanna get it tightened.

I visited 3 individual mechanics and they all said 200 ns has rear disc brakea and can't be tightened!!!! Well, one said you may put in some more brake fluid.

My question is How can a brake not be tightened??? Whats the way!!!

Comparing to dry condition in wet i have to give more pressure on brake lever and comparing to front, rear needs more pressure. I just feel that way and while riding in the rain the brake pad doesn't seems to worn out quickly. Seems its a good pad.

It can be tighten. Maybe your pedal has been tightened to its limit or need to pump up your brake due to low brake oil.
Put The Pedal To The Metal

Is this legal.... And I don't think this is a right place for sticking it....

I am new to biking, and thus a noob question.... Can angel headlights be fitted for our ns?
Does it have to do anything with projector setup....

I was planning to buy the bike this month, but my dad says to buy it in January, coz then it will be called as 2015 model, does the year make any big difference?

Yesterday I went to a show room, and they say that the on road price is 10570... And 2500 for accessories.. The accessories include Saree guard, rear view mirror.... Aren't they supposed to come with the bike?

A bike manufactured in 2014 will be a 2014 model even if you buy it in 2015 or 2020..

There is certainly a way to tighten the rear brake. There is a nut which lessens the travelling of the brake pedal. Its located near the black rubber which is in between the pedal and the pump.

I'm in Cochin, the only extra for the 200NS here is the centre stand. And I spent a total of 99900 one month back.

                    hi everyone,
This is my first time writing a thread or whatever you call it.
I just found this site and signed up after reading this thread.
I own a black ns two months old and 2800 km old.
                    1) how often should i change the engine oil?
                    2) some days back i observed a leak on the ground not sure if its from my bike. its not oily and no smell either. is it of concern?
                    3) the last part of the 'r' in pulsar logo on the tank is broken, can i find a new one?
                    4) thinking of doing some stickering and paint job, any advice? ( i mostly prefer green, recently i brought a monster tank sticker)
                    5) last and mainly a problem with my gear down shifting. whenever i sudden break and try to down shit to 1 or 2, the clutch pedal wont come back up while down shifting unless i release the clutch to some extent. is this a concerning problem?

                      1) 3000kms on the dot. Irrespective of company or ownership advice. Helps keep the engine young. Ss or fs oils can be changed every 3500kms.
                      2) if you can't see an oil leak then don't concern yourself.
                      3) any Bajaj spares shop will have it. If not just go to a good sized spares shop, you'll get it for sure.
                      4) I personally feel new bikes shouldn't be stickered or painted, but whatever floats your boat.
Draw a template sketch first and design it before approaching a sticker shop. Then once stickered just get a clear coat (film bond) job done (makes stickers and bike's looks Las longer. Regarding paint, DIY it. Cover all parts bot meant to be painted properly and plug all holes then get a can of spray paint of your colour choice and paint it. Then again clear coat for best results.
                      5) I assume you meant gear pedal. If so then its normal. Try not to downshift as aggressively and your problem will disappear. Don't stress the gear selector so much but if problem persists after this then take it to svc for servicing.

So I had a feeling that I was getting a mileage of around 32, and after reading about people getting a mileage of around 50, I thought let's take the bike to the svc, so they took out the spark plug and the technician showed the spark plug to the manager. He was like, "Isme nahi nahi toh 50 ka mileage hoga".

So they took out 100 ml of petrol from my bike, and we took it for a ride. It went exactly 6 kms. Meaning? A mileage of 60kmpl. Holy shit. And yes, we'd exhausted the fuel in the carburetor first and then checked the mileage.

Maybe the roads where I ride aren't really that great. Or maybe my riding style is very shit.

I change gears at around 5.5k rpm and ride at a normal speed of around 75-80. While checking the mileage, I asked the technician to ride as I sat behind him, and he was changing gears around 4k rpm and around a speed of 50 kmph.

The others who are getting a good mileage, how do you ride?

35 is the max you'll get. Others are just wishful thinking. Post a picture of your spark plug, we can read it.

I rode down to my home town in Odisha from Hyderabad (about 850kms), was maintaining 80-100kmph for most part and got a mileage of 38-39kmpl (full tank to full tank). I used to get 32-34kmpl when I was riding in Hyderabad.
