I am asking this to u with a guess that you do not own a NS.
Now, while spotting the NS from back, did it in anyway looked like a 135LS, which many NS haters keep complaining about??

how much engine oil is required for ns ?.. i thought it needed 1.4ltrs ..
they have mentioned just 1ltr in your bill ..

Hi all I am new to the bikers department.. I am about to get my NS within two days... I got to know that before the first servicing, I should not revv over a speed of 40 Km/Sec.. Is it true?? And what else systemic use need to be implemented for a new bike ?? Kindly Suggest..

So, finally brought the red lady home (the first one to come home from showroom in Gurgaon actually)!!

I must admit that it was quite an eventful first ride for a brand new motorcycle, with the exhaust going under rain water, mud off roading, zipping through heavily conjested traffic and last but not the least, tarmac as wet as it can be, all in the first ride from showroom to home

First impressions, well, can't say much, because this is a new genome and genetics analysis do take time, one or two rides do not tell you anything, specially for a motorcycle which is trying to carve a niche!! But at the same there were a few things which I noticed like -

1) The motorcycle is boringly stable at city speeds. My previous Pulsar 200 made me work on it to make it go the way I wanted, and that taught me a lot of things. It was just brute force from the word go. The NS on the other at or below 4k rpms is so damn stable that it almost gave the feeling that I'm riding a CD Dawn, just much more powerful.

2) Since the brakes and the rubber are also breaking in, I played with them accordingly, and I didn't had an single nervous moment, even while I just guiding through mud and fully soaked tarmac.

3) The horn is a shame and there's no qualms about it.

We have to understand that a new motorcycle off the block is like a child being born and like every little child has early glitches and slowly the chlid comes into it's own, so is the case with motorcycles. So, there's no point jumping the gun on negetives.. as it doesn't make much sense.

has any one removed the small saree guard ? Couldn't remove it as it was attached to the inner tyre hugger part.

I always had respected bajaj, but now the patience is seriously crossing the limits...
What the hell are they thinking?? We will also have to pay the same price, what others are paying..

and the frustration increases manifold when the customer care & the dealers gives such shitty replies..
It has been more than six months since the bike was unveiled, and more than two months sincee the bike was first launched in Pune.

what the f.....! Before pooja? I aint going for the ns then.... Complete hopeless comany.... Better to wait few more months and get the faired or some other bike....there are few more bikes expected... M gonna blast a mail to bajaj....crap...

ya i called today.....but there is a ray of hobe the ols(diamond harbour road) says it will be arriving next week.....i dont kno how much its tru.....now i think i shud hav gone for any other bike 2months before only......being bikeless has shown me hardships in the past two months especially on the day electricity went off....but going for any other bike now will make me feel regret wen ns will be available......

Guys write a mail to [email protected] for a proper response. The reply will be precise and quick.

I had a nice experience with the bajaj customer care. I have made the full payment on july 26th , but there was no communication from the dealer , every two days i only called n inquired about the bike, n got some very rude responses as : sir who said 10-14 days.. its minimum 20 WORKING days etc etc..
I wrote a mail to bajaj customer care on Aug 7 , and on Aug 8 my dealer called me for the first time since i made the booking.. he apologized for the inconsiderate behavior of his executives and promised to deliver the bike by tuesday i.e. 14th Aug.

I did write a mail to bajaj on July mid with soft words, and this is the reply that I got
"Dear Sir
Thanks for your mail. Presently we cannot comment you on same as there is no concrete intimation on same from BAL"

I will send a mail again tonight, and this time there ain't gonna be any SOFT WORDS

Arre...I already sent an email this morning...no reply yet. Lets wait and watch what reply do we get!

God please have some mercy on people (read bike enthusiasts and art lovers) in West Bengal...starting with Kolkata....and give the people at BAL some sense of appreciation of someone's emotions and a little bit of pity so that they get to know what we are going through to get this bike in our hands.
How helpless and desperate we feel to hear everyone say "Getting my bumblebee today", "getting my beast tomorrow", "Its a the best"!!
