Sir ,you're saying euroslips fine for everyday use ,that means one or more of the following reasons
    1. Roads in your region and perfectly laid tarmac type (which is a big no,gzd)
    2. People of ghz are very benevolent Traffic rule followers.
(Again big no ,it's India and most imp. Zeeela gahziaabad )
    3. You don't ride 200ns like it's meant to be ridden (not necessarily like fast and furious ,but at least in James bond style )
Hehehe, jokes aside ,I would like to wish you luck and pray that whenever you'd have to face the wrath of euroslips (which will happen ,eventually) ,you be all geared up and on a empty stretch ,because trust me ,that one corner ,that one auto/bus/human being who comes in front out of no where ,can make all the difference between a perfect ride and what the f just happened.
I will still suggest you that when you''ve invested ~1L on bike and being a xbhp contributor, I'm sure you'll be flashing plenty of gears ,Get that Rear euroslip changed to some mrf rev (z/s I don't know ) as it'll cost a merely 3-4 k expenditure, but will save you and your commodities.
Wishing you happy miles ahead and will surely catch up with you sometime.

      Anuj,

Think you haven't read my post carefully enough, particularly the section where i am talking about the tyres.

Everyone here about the efficiency of the Eurogrip tyres, though I don't find them to be bad for everyday use unless you are pushing them hard. Though I haven't really tested them as I am not pushing the bike in the running in period.
The god lies in the details my friend. Read carefully. Don't assume things.

Again, don't assume things. You don't live in Ghaziabad. You don't know which part of Ghaziabad i live in or what is my route to commute! Probably your assumption is based on the cliched image of the Ghaziabad roads that every Delhiite has about NCR. Probably!

You don't ride 200ns like it's meant to be ridden
I am curious to see how it is meant to be ridden. Really curious!

Thanks for the kind words and your prayers, Anuj. I think we all need those prayers irrespective of the tyres we are running on. Also the thing that really makes the difference is your own riding style and how well trained your reflexes are. Better equipment (read tyres) obviously will help, so the bike will get its due upgrades as and when required. As of now, I do not see the need for it and it is my humble opinion that for the kind of usage I've subjected them to till now (5K rpm, no hard acceleration), the tyres are not bad. And I would like to stick to that opinion.

My focus is primarily on exhausts (saw a few videos on youtube, fell in love with the SCORPION exhaust, although no price/model info is given)
Also Angel Eye headlamps, those seem fantastic.

              Belated congrats for NS...he he...

I am a bit surprised by your purchase of NS. If you wanted NS, you could have purchased it mucb earlier, or may have waited a bit more for SS or for Fi version of NS (as the rumour). Post some nice pics.

Your toolkit story surprised me, as in all the pulsars i had purchased till now had the toolkit in bike, under the seat. It was never handed over to me seperately. U can post a pic of the tools to check if you got a different toolkit than us. My NS tool kit is diferent than the toolkit of my previous P150.

P200NS is a lovely bike with good acceleration, speed and handling charecteristics, though i would differ on low-end torque part.

Are you sure that it is engine vibration and not some other part vibrating.

It does sound stupid but i also have same issue..
When tank is nearing reserve.. engine becomes harsh... hits reserve bam vibrations are gone..
This helps me me to know that its time to fill up
Checked and cleaned carb and plugs, oil and oil filter even when new i have this problem.. checked fuel line and secondary intake to carb which i believe to be reserve intake..
Then checked tank and i could not dirt at all..
                All nuts bolts tightened correctly..

Few posts back some asked for castrol power1 oil..
Its good lasts for 6k kms and engine runs smoothly silently, vibes reduced , make sure you get genuine can of oil..
Haven't tried motul 7100 as its rarely found in my city.. So no idea on how it compares with it..

I understand your opinion. Still wouldn't hurt to just hang out with other NS riders for one evening, would it ? Tomorrow or day after tomorrow I might be meeting up with another xbhp member, utsavchs who is currently in Noida, along with few other NW members, at the dhaba in New Delhi. It'd be nice if you join. I might even be able to join for the short ride to Hapur on sunday morning.

I have had the service do all the things you had done. But still facing the bloody issue.
The engine should run smooth until the last drop of petrol runs out. I have ridden so many bikes but have never seen this problem those bikes.

Have used Motul 300V in my old FZ and now using 7100 in my NS. Motul is the best oil I have come across. Haven't used Castrol though.

Bajaj service center is closed on Saturdays! What is the logic behind it? You are overloading your staff on Sundays, which means the mechanics would be forced to not give enough time to a bike, which would result in bad service. The brand takes a beating! WHY?

Can't they adopt some sort of rotating week off policy for their staff?

Can you guys confirm if the Bajaj SVC is closed in your city on a weekend?

I had my eyes set on the 200NS for a very long time, almost since I rode it first at Bajaj's track in Chakan. A fully faired bike is big no for me - so out goes the 200SS. The Fi version also ain't coming anytime soon, i.e., if it comes at all which I doubt. Was hoping for a more powerful Impulse, which didn't happen either. The Duke definitely was a better option than NS for me, but the pillion seat and 50K tilted the decision in favor of NS.

Will post the picture of the tools to confirm.

And as of now, with the first service pending, I doubt I'll go for the ride as I was planning to open it up a little after the oil change.

I can try to some up the difference in a couple of sentences. Stock feels like trying to sprint on formal shoes, and the upgrade feels like track boots.

Hope you didn't take much of a beating.. Just take it as a step for the betterment of your riding skills.. [ i know i did.. ]
NGK replacements are available for only the 2 slave plugs [ champion ones ]. I don't think the main Bosch plug needs replacement anyway.
Go for the CR-8-EIX or CR-9-EIX.. [using the CR-8-EIX] Both will do well.. The result will be that you'll have a little better throttle response and an slight increase in the bass tone of the exhaust [very nice sound during engine braking]
But they're around rs.550/- per piece..

I feel really stupid for saying "Some" when I should've said "Sum".

And for the NS, the three most commonly used tyres I know of are Pilot Street radial, Pilot Sporty, and MRF Revz-S I think. The one on the R15v2.

Never seen a Ceat. I've also seen a PSD on an NS. Looked really beefy. The rider wasn't with the beast so couldn't ask for the review. Also seen a couple of people use the ContiGo. They say it's very puncture prone. And I've seen one Ralson tyre. He was in front of me in the traffic. I tried to catch up to him to ask for his opinion of the tyre. The dumb dude thought I was racing, so he raced away. :/
