Sird : that guy levintt is not facing any problem because of oil, there is no problem in oil, most of the ppl here use motul 7100 in their NS. So ask him to describe his problems in detail.

What grade of 7100 is he using? You get 10W40 in that. Hope he hasn't used the same.

Imm using Motul 7100, 20W50, just that the bike has become harsh, performance might be a tad better , but the engine is harsh, is it normal with 7100

Since how long have you been using the oil? Some oils actually show their real character after running few kms.

Any loss in performance of bike?

No man, 7100 makes your bike only smoother, enabling to you to totally redline your NS endlessly..
A question.. if your bike's new, are you pampering your NS too much ? Which year model is your bike ? Did you forget to change the oil filter btw ? Drain the engine oil, check oil filter. Go to the CO mechanic n ask him to improve fueling of your bike. Tell him, bike load utha ri hai.. make sure sprocket and chain are clean and lubed ofc.
If your bike is young, please avoid pampering your NS, ride it real hard n it should smoothen out. Constant downshifting, use engine braking. revv it hard in neutral when warmed up.. just kill it. Nothing's gonna happen trust me. Take a healthy top speed run and ride it on average speeds n notice the difference. and please be patient and bear with it, NS changes it's behaviour anytime. i.e. things will get better.

Cool, thanks , anyways have been on 7100 for 700kms now , performance is awesome, the oil is more stable than the bajaj oil at high temperatures and high RPM's , enjoying the ride, just that occasional roughness gets me pist , otherwise awesome

I shifted to 7100 after the 2k kms with new piston and cylinder kit. I can feel the difference the the bike is now revv friendly and grunty. In my opinion 5100 is a shit it just gives the smoothness to the engine but the engine feels lazy & slugish with 5100. were as with 7100 even tough engine is a little harsher but the feel u get while revving hard is totally different.

Its one of the best FS oil available in the market i dont own NS i have 220. But belive me 7100 is the best one to get with your eyes closed. Try to source the new variant 7100 20W50 with MA2 grade

Heres what Motul says:

Can I mix two types of oil of a different quality or brand?

We can only recommend that you mix two different brands or qualities of lubricant only if the two oils were designed for the same application (4-stroke engine oil for instance, but you can’t mix a 2-stroke oil with a 4-stroke oil). However, make sure you comply with the minimum quality recommended by the OEM, bearing in mind that the quality of the mixture obtained will generally be closer to that of the lesser product, depending on the proportions.

I've done that twice, but I've mixed 1000 ml of 5100 with 200 ml of 300v and it ran well for 3000 kms. As long as the grade is same, its ok to mix two oils. And since you're planning to mix two oils of the same brand, you wouldn't have to worry about oil additives 'disagreeing' with each other. Trust me its fine. I had to do that because 5100 cant be found easily and I only managed one bottle per city :P

Maybe you changed the suspension setting for a softer ride. Or maybe its just time to repair or replace the suspension. Does the rear shock squeak when its pressed down. If so you have a problem.
