Last week had a bad experience. I gave my bike to service guys to fix the centre stand. I left in morning and collected it in evening. On my way home power of my beast was toned down. P200NS which is known for its pick up was destroyed by service guys. I called them next morning and here is the reply I got "SIR I DID SETTING SO YOUR PICK UP HAS COME DOWN BUT YOU WILL GET VERY GOOD MILEAGE. PETROL ITNA MEHENGA HAI TOOH AVERAGE ACHI AAYEGI TOH ACHA HAI AAPKE LIYE SIR. I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY WITH WHAT I DID. AND ONE MORE THING I DID ON THE BIKE WAS I DID FORK SETTING AS MANY BIKES WERE FACING THIS PROBLEM SO I DID IT FOR YOU FOR FREE"

I than got angry on him and said DID I TELL YOU TO CHANGE AND SETTING FORK OR ENGINE SETTING THAN WHY DID YOU DO IT AND WHY YOU DID NOT ASK ME BEFORE DOING IT. He had no reply for it. He said I thought you would be happy on me.

My bike was not swaying on left side but thanks to this extra smart service guy that my bike now sways on left side. I told him to restore my all previous settings and he just increased my rpm and gave my bike back to me.

Very upset with this service guy
Sorry to be rude but lol on the service guy. How is the performance after reverting to the original settings?

                  now this is ingenuity..

was just going through the Owner's manual and in the Speedometer description, it says that Reserve / Engine rev inicator (the LED just on the top right corner of cluster) glows in case of
                  1. petrol reaches reserve
                  2. RPM crosses 10K
i remember some owners mentioned the issue of this LED glowing continuously on the 1st day or so. It might be the reserve indicator, as the dealer gives just 1-2 litres @ delivery and reserve is 2.4 litres.
                  NOT an Issue..

and safe and happy riding, new owners.n

I guess, the credit goes to MG..

And, that particualr Over Rev / Low Fuel indicator is common to all Pulsar's Post UG3 upgrade.

Secondly got my engine oil changed, at 85Kms on ODO, and it has made the bike even smoother. Can't wait to put Motul Fully Sunthetic.. and see the results!
Which brake oil did you use.. Pulsar dtsi oil?. The service guy said there's no need to change oil, even when I requested so..

Though I have PMed you, let me put it for all.

Engine Oil, officially is required to be replaced only by 500-700kms. I changed it early, before 100kms on my own, and will replace it again at 750kms.

@rahuldevnath, I know its good to change oil in the 1st 100Kms mark.
But had a long term doubt on this one.
I guess u have changed the Oil by yourself, and since u will be changing the oil on next 750km interval, that means u wont require oil change in the 1st service.
So wont that Hamper your Warranty if any engine problem occurs??
(I say this as there wont be any proof that you have changed the oil within proper interval; for which Bajaj might reject the warranty)
