There is nothing such as best tyres. It all depends upon the terrain and riding style. But yes...PSD are the really good ones...and would compliment the NS' abilities as against the stock Eurogrips in the city/highways/valleys etcOriginally posted by suraj200ns View PostGuys ! are pirelli sports demon the best tyre for 200ns ? I'll be getting my bike in 3days and i want to swap the stock tyre

budget would be around 5k with exchange of the stock tyres !!
Good luck and happy riding ur new machine!!

Edit: And yes (going by crashoverride's words) you should get your pirellis within 5k after exchange.Last edited by myth2104; 08-07-2012, 07:51 PM.

I've been following this thread since Chintan brought home his NS. I got mine delivered (in yellow of course) on July 25th. She has done about 900km. Done with the first service as well. I'm getting a mileage of 48 in city and got 55 on a long ride. Well, I'm not exaggerating guys, but I just want to confirm if the other NS owners are getting such FE!Ride safe!

Got Pirelli Sports Demon....!!
I got PSD on my NS today, the stock tyres were sold to the dealers for Rs. 2400 (2100 kms. old). Another Rs. 3600 were paid for both the front and the rear tyre. The front tyre is 110/70, not 100/80, and the rear 130/70. Only done 50kms till now, will keep you posted about the feedback in a week's time after clocking a few hundred kms.

..
Be there WITH svc guys, whole time. Make sure those guys is not messing up with your NS.
Guys, am now @ 350km. As seen in Duke thread, am now increasing RPM in 2nd and 3rd gear. Rest gears, under 4k. The sound is awesome. Like a small filter sound...
Is this procedure okay ?Last edited by J K; 08-07-2012, 10:07 PM.sigpicUSED IN PAST: Ct100, Victor, Xcd 135For a true motorcyclist, the straight portions of the roads exist just to take him from one turn to the next!

I keep changing the Idling screw every now and then to ensure its at 1500 RPM level. Can we do this?2.5K is too much. When the engine is heated up, adjust the idling screw so that it settle downs to 1500. In case you have starting troubles later, then set it to 1800 max. 200NS has very high revving engine, so should idle around 1500RPM.
When is the best time to set the Idle RPM? Start the vehicle, let it idle for a minute or so. Take it for a spin and then set it?

Drive Carefully...
It is not only the bikes that can be recalled by the maker!
