      (1) Ride between 3K - 5K RPM
      (2) Post 10Kms on ODO, give short bursts of acceleration till 8k RPM (once every 30kms or so) (and engine should hot enough, say at least 10 kms of riding before you give a burst)
      (3) When giving short bursts, try to do it in all the gears.
      (4) Change engine oil by 80-90kms on ODO.
      (5) Post 150Kms on ODO start riding between 4K-5K RPM normally.

      - Don't ride for long distance, and try to vary the speeds (medium traffic is best)

      - While giving bursts don't sustain for a long time, say 10seconds is enough.

      This is what i follow..
Thanks a ton bro.. When I reach place when I can give short bursts (OMR or ECR).. it will be more than 10kms..sadly, the journey there will be city traffic ride.. that will not be an issue.. right?

As per my research, the above procedure sets the engine for the optimal tune of Performance and Efficiency. For further understanding, look at the break-in prodcedure in @payeng sir's Blog - The Bike Chronicles of India.

I got my machine on July 2nd 2012. Have had a good experience till now. The bike shows its true face after the 1st service.
Power delivery is linear & not very urgent(i like it that way).
Brakes are really good making you feel very safe.
          Superb handling.

Haven't pressed the bike beyond 90 km/hr yet. Looks hungry for it though(reaches the speeds very soon...)

I think more than 40-60 200NS have been delivered in Bangalore. It's going to be a common sight

ECR is good, riding through Chennai traffic is actually good, best for warming up, because it's not exactly bumper to bumper traffic. Remember the engine should not be on a constant RPM and shoudl vary!

                    • One tip for completing running time asap : dont off ignition on long traffic signal keep your bike engine on.

Look, running period is only for making engine smooth i.e to reduce friction b/w piston and cylinder coz if friction is more it will produce more heat in a result if you run engine in high rpm there is a risk of engine seize therefore you can run engine simply if you have excess of petrol this will help you to reduce running time period... and you can neglect kms done in odo.

Expected date of delivery was actually "end of first week of August" since they did not have any blue color bikes in stock.
But last Thursday the manager called me and confirmed if i wanted blue one only since it has arrived that morning. He said he could try to register the bike as soon as Friday if he gets "some pay slip" on Thursday itself.
But on Friday he called me again and informed that i have been allotted the bike but it would be registered only on Monday. But since Friday was auspicious day he gave me the option to ride it to the nearest temple and bring back before evening.
I do not want to ride my bike before registration. So i requested him to call me after registration so that i can pick up my bike.
All these times they were very humble and patient towards me. So kudos to them.
Any Chennai bikers around who had already received the bike ?
Two people I know have already received it in Friday...
