Sure, let us know.Originally posted by nilesh14587 View PostPhew...that's so much work to do. Its so much better even on my passion. Put on the center-stand and see the indicators, 1bar = 2litrs. As easy as it looks. When its about to go dry the indicator blinks. (So when on reserve you get one more indication when fuel it just about to finish).
I think i will shoot a mail to BAL and seek clarification on this. Hopefully the makers know whats the logic behind it.
Will let you guys know if i discover anything.
I just wanna know my bike thoroughly.

The SVC guy had no clue what happened and why the bike behaved like that. On my way to SVC, the bike behaved as similar and low oil pressure indicator started blinking. After some tuning at SVC, bike back to normal. Still , he was not sure how it became normal. Any clue guys?Originally posted by shylesh View PostI was off for 4 days while my dad rode the bike. (he is a commuter)
I came back today. I started the bike this afternoon and idled it for 2 minutes. I was smooth. I've slope in my home to get to road and when i moved it on the slope, the idle RPM rose to 3.2k from 1.5 k. I used the idling screw to bring it back to postion.
I started riding with my mom in the pillion. After 2 mins in the road, the bike started struggling and I felt that I've not turned the petrol knob on.
I stopped and the bike turned off. I switced the petrol knob on and choked and tried all things I can do for 20 minutes and the reaction of the bike is that it starts and it gets off in 5 seconds.
I mean, I can ride it as we do any bike when it is DRY. But this one has 10 litres petrol in it!!!!
Any guess why? I'm waiting for SVC guy to come to my home. (called him)
BTW, This SVC guy is a moron, he never leaves me to stay while he services. Should i trust him or opt another service center for my first service.
done 99 @odoYou have heard of me, But you don't know me. You know what I'am, not what I've gone through

@Rahul : Mate, I have read that the sealant liquid causes a bit of corrosion from the inside of the rim. So unless its a serious puncture,I would advise you to stay away from the liquid. That liquid is supposed to delay the air loss just to make sure that you can reach the nearest puncture repair shop.Originally posted by Rahulbarik View Postwhy not revz s? Because of puncture? I confirmed with my friends who have v2 and none of them had one till date.. I will install slime liquid sealant inside the tire sn that it doesn't leak air...
People say that its a Semi-Synthetic but I find it to be a crappy oil. It can't hold on for 500-700 kms and the engine/gearshift is back to harsh nature. Its worse than the one I am using now in my P150 which is BP MAK 4T NXT. Considering the price of Bajaj DTSi oil, its a stupid stupid one.Originally posted by bhuwansaini View PostThe amount I paid was 537/- (Actually 540/-, no change
)
444/- Bajaj Dtsi oil 20W50
85/- Oil Filter
I asked for a coolant top up but they said it was enough to run upto the next service.
Also, this oil runs for 1000-1500 kms according to the svc. And he didn't know whether it was mineral SS or FS.
Could anyone confirm/add to this?
Ok, so here is the deal. When you put in a new engine oil, its take around 50-100 kms for that oil or engine to get accustomed to each other. Gear shifts will definitely be hard after servicing for some time so don't worry. Plus you got Bajaj DTSi oil which is so crap that my wild guess is even Desi Ghee or Dalda or Sunflower Refined oil can hold better than it (Sarcasm involved, don't beat me to death guys).Originally posted by NS_Fan View PostWhen i told the svc that the engine and the gears have become hard after the 1st service, he told thats expected after the 1st service.Am not sure why? Any other owners faced this change after the 1st service ??Regards,

Engine oil (run in period) - Mineral oil. i think in the first 500 kms, one should change the oil as this oil will contain some minute parts from engine.
Engine oil (after run in period) - i guess it should be semi- syntetic oil till 6000kms. exact reasons i dont know. i just read somewhere about this. not sure though.
Rest of them i am not aware off.

Wish that like u, if my boss could understand my geniusness
@ALL - Today I met my darling while I went to make my full payment..
She looked awesome, while standing with a sexy tilted pose along with her siblings. I wished I had dressed little more smartly to make a good 1st impression.(was unaware that I will be meeting her today). Anyways, checked her out from all sides with a gentle touch of my finger at the right places. She was too shy to talk (wasn't fired up), but I'm sure our tuning matched.
I promised her to meet for a 2nd date on Wed(the delivery date).
Giving u all a small trailer... "Guess the colour" is still ON!!

PS - anyone going to the showroom(OSL Thakurpukur), Please check if this particular vehicle is offered as Test Ride..Last edited by Shibadip; 08-24-2012, 11:59 PM.sigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.
