U can get it checked from any road side mechanic. Its not a big deal. And also keep lubing chain as and when needed and dont wait for servicing.

He said the noise from the back of his bike. So it may not be from engine. But it can be engine knocking which he may not recognised.

Ride in correct rpm band in each gear.

Riding in higher gear in lower rpm than needed does not even help fuel economy. Many people think that way but it wrong.

@cali115 - check if your chain slack is beyond the norms prescribed in owner's manual. If yes, get it tightened.
rest as follow as @saurabhjd said

you are saying that the noise arises whenever you are riding at lower rpm at higher gear, that's gotta be engine-knocking.
btw a 340 km clocked new bike doesn't need chain lubing or chain slackness adjustment.
          identify your problem carefully.
tvs chain lube is vfm, comes at 330 rs for 500ml
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Yup tvs is best value for money. Motul or oks etc also there. But way too expensive. Other local products also available. But not recomended.

Bro if it's a kat-kat sound, it's got to be a serious issue. There have been many complaints about the squeaking noise from the rear disk. i guess BAL is working out a solution cos of so many issues being reported. Meanwhile, try avoiding water to clean the rear part the bike, cos even the slightest of water causes the disk to make the squeaking noise. Use a spray-can with water, that way u can avoid spilling water onto the disk.

A good News -Bajaj Customer care called just now, after yesterday's mail. They assured me that the bike has been launched all over West-Bengal at an Ex-Showroom price of 87,618/-.

They have also taken my complaint against the dealers(all of them) and have assured me that I will get a call from the dealers within 3 days.

Another thing guys - If the Dealer tells that Bajaj decides what colour comes in the next lot, its complete bull-shit. If a particular colour is not available with the dealer, and if you book it, they are bound to bring it in the next lot, as bajaj sends the color based on the Orders placed by the dealers.(and not what dealers keep on saying that it depend completely on Bajaj)
If the dealer speaks otherwise, don't even hesitate to shoot a complaint to C.Care against the dealers. They need to get Screwed BIG TIME because of their "Don't Care" attitude.

And Thanks to @CHINTAN.. for giving us the Accurate news.
aswm news really boss......ar ha thanks for the initiative ur the real boss :-P

I had been to Popular Bajaj service station @ Koramangala. As soon as I told that the sound is coming from the rear, he checked the chain for slackness. It was a bit loose. But then he told, the reason its loose cuz when pillion rider is present , it might break if its too tight. He lubed the chain for me. I dint find any sound after that. Need to check at night when no traffic is present

                            I hope its nothing serious!

Got my bumblebee today at 6:30 !
Anyways few questions : I could feel the heat of the engine quite prominently and the fan was getting switched on ..
And i also realized that the speedo was disconnected and it had run 11.6 kms !!
Since i was going to the temple my dad told me to get it fixed tomorrow..
Is anyone else feeling the heat i'm talking about ??
Is it something to worry about or is it normal {The heat} ??
And will they replace my bike by any chance if i complain about the speedo being disconnected ?

Congrats! Welcome to the 200NS club!

From the time I have got the bike (2 Weeks here in B'lore) the fan has never switched on! the climate is cooler here. Please get the coolant level checked.

Bike , I dont think will be replaced as far as I know. When I got my bike, it had run 12kms I guess its to get the bike reg they have to take it to RTO or something.
