    • My bumblebee has arrived

      Dear friends,
Bumblebee has finally descended in my life. I got so many stares today while coming back from showroom. Many other riders expressed their delight at the beautiful design whenever i waited at the signal.

I am 6 feet and the bike is also perfect for my height. Here are some pics.

Any advice appreciated. I plan to get Teflon coating done in next week.

      Regards
      Siddhesh

I have reduced the size of the pics. Hopefully these should be visible now. Enjoy

I am not sure, but today I did feel some vibrations at foot pegs. Have not ridden much so can't be sure of the reason or if I can reproduce them. But a good thing is, I could not feel the bike swaying to left issue with a pillion today. Was riding at around 60. Guys, please try this at high speeds and let us know if it still happens. I will also try to again

I have one query, do we really need that rear tyre hugger even in monsoon ?
I like the look with out that tyre hugger.
Current tyre hugger itself is not sufficient. So don't think about removing it, at least till monsoon is over.

Ok with orange/yellow on tacho. But I need white as back lit for switches. Also, the Bajaj LOGO on console is useless. They could have accommodated something useful instead. A gear shift indicator is something I am missing a lot. Moving from 4 speed to 6 speed would have been smooth then.

It often takes a humiliating overtake to understand that an early jump off the red light won't help them lead the pact. All I want to say is - Go after green.

                  • LOOKS like more bikes are getting up in the hands of the owners. And AFAI see, Bumblebee is winning the race, and that too by a good margin.
Red and Black are also catching up. But only one Blue has been posted in this thread.!!

Buddy, the bike swaying to one particular side after leaving hands also depends on your body balance. If your body is tilted on one side, the bike will sway to that particular side. Probably, your pillion adjusted the balance of the bike. Its a very very minor issue, and dont put your head into these matters.

However vibrating footpeg can be a matter of concern (tough not that imp)

It is all due to the the rider's position as pointed out. Reason being, when I sit on my P150 slightly towards the left, the bike sways in that direction. I tried to adjust myself a little bit and TA-DA, it doesn't sway at all. This can also be due to the wheel balancing thingy which it may or may not have. A wheel which has misplaced or missing wheel balancer metal piece/thingy can make your bike sway in either direction. However, what bothers me here is, why would one want to leave the handle bar at high speeds? We are XBHP members, right, and still acting as newbies??

Again as pointed out, don't bother about it too much. Enjoy the ride, there are much worse things and big things toworry about, say like rising petrol prices.

Well there are costs associated with that, isn't it? You plonk in a gear shift indicator and puffff, prices go up and hamper sales. It is just a matter of time and you will be trying to find the fifth and sixth cog in your 4 gear bike.

That wil complete the BumbleBee edition.

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
