Thats why i love my petronas.... motul was creamy smooth with lots of engine protection....but the actual feel of the engine was gone which turned into a differnt bike with a deep grunty exhaust note along with the engine feeling as if something is restricting it to revv and run and its working hard to do it... now with petronas, the oil feels very close to the bajaj oil minus the vibes, roughness and all those.... amd the engine is runing now as it is being let loose after years... bike literally jumping when i release the clutch and wheelspins have increased a lot even with mrf rubber......and i really mean it.... if you ever come across the oil, try it once.... 300v can be stretched till 6.5 approx considering i stretched my 7100 till 9.5k kms

As service is yet to be done ...dont be too cocky about problems, rather enjoy your ride and feel the most out of it...when you visit svc...then blast out all the problems. ..
Yes if u can change oil at 250 ,its good but if u didnt, its not wnd of the world( i didnt changed oil)
For cleaning purposes, i clean my bike with wet cloth only. ..i dont know what kind of polish my svc used. ..but after 2 months of service and heavy rainfall, my bike shines like polished( im still amazed) ,
Btw,i heard about price hike...can u tell me the exact amount u paid for ns..?
As I Grew Up..I slowly Loose My Freedom...

          Whaaaaattt...?
1.08..? Thats not possible as hike was max 5000 bucks and that too on ninja or duke models. ..,
Btw if i was getting ns at 1.08...i would've brought a honda trigger at 86k or duke 200

Removing headlight assembly is quite easy to do so..
just 4 allen bots and the assembly just falls down...

I have to search for some rubber grommets locally..
As bajaj ppl over here are not aware of it

Engine oil is still seeping. Daily I find few drops on the floor. At 250 on odo, oil is approaching min level. Today I will visit ASC.

Yesterday I opened it a bit till 5k rpm and the feel was good except in 3k~4k where it feels as running out of fuel, and forces to open the throttle by a fair margin (doesn't feel linear). Is it a common behaviour of NS?

Also, I think the brakes are little engaged, tried to test with help of a friend and wheels were not rotating freely. But Couldn't confirm as dont have main stand. Will get it checked at ASC. I am achieving around 54kmph at 4k rpm in top gear. Is it normal?

Somebody pls post speed vs rpm data (I tried searching thread but couldn't find it ).

The ns does give a wheezy feeling at 3-3.5k rpm in new bikes and it gets rectified all by itself after a couple of thousand kms at max. Let it be like that.... amd dont let the svc guys touch ur carb for any kind of tuning.
The brakes are bound to be jammed in a new bike.... new pad as well as new plate... after the pad and plate wear out a bit it will go away... it might take 2k kms or more i some cases.
And lastly bike running at 54kmph at 4k rpm in 6th gear is actually a bit abnormal considering mine does 60kmph at 4k in 6th. Either something is fishy or else bajaj may have shortened the gearing to improve low end pull in the recent batches... lowest i have seen at 4k in 6th is 58kmph in mine now with a burnt clutch

Now I am a bit relieved knowing that these are not the bike specific problems. And for speed at 4k rpm, I would check again today. But What about oil seeping problem? Oil seems to be more on area around oil filter.

White smoke comes from beneath the exhaust... not from the exhaust gas.... mine smoked for the 5th time couple of days back... and as usual i abondoned my bike in the middle of the road and ran away creating traffic chaos. Thick white smoke comes from there after a bit of ripping... still unable to find the issue. Svc says its chain lube.... but i know its not chain lube coz i am running a brand new chain which contains black grese.

The oi filter cap might have come loose or the o-ring seal of the cap has gone kaput.... nothing major...
