    Then Today I will get the o ring seal replaced. Hope it would stop the oil seepage.

      In fear buddy :banghead: i was standing at a signal after ripping a lot, a r15 owner pointed thick smoke from under the engine.... so put on the side stand there itself and fled.. and this is the 5th time. The first time when it happened the smoke was so dense that not only my bike, two bikes beside mine were also not visible.... that was the time when i had the scare of my lifetime and fled the spot

                sometimes happens with my bike too... strong burning smell with some smoke.......i call it - "my beast is angry now, so everybody beware..." he he...

                dude what do you mean by brand new chain with black grease..?? have you not lubed it..??

                  But after that, on a road trip i ripped her like anything... keeping my speed at 80~100 most...

                  No burnt smell... Just a little bit... but was not like b4...

                  I suspected the rubber thing which holds the exhaust and exhaustech pipe in place...

                    Today again I checked the speed at 4k rpm in 6th gear. It was 55 kmph. What could be the reason? Bike is less than 250 km on the odo.

                        Actually its quite scary sometimes...hehe.... and burning smell has become a common thing in my bike now... hehe....
                        Btw why should i lube my brand new chain.... brand new chains are factory greased... i will lube it maybe today coz i have done 300kms with it now.... and actually i prefer black grease more than lube... makes the chain super silent and much smoother than lube.

                          What you are exp is normal... some ppl have got into things even worst than yours...

                          everything will be fine after 1st service.. Trust me..

                          Now my bike has done 4.8k km odo and bike feels so good than ever before...

                            My exhaust pipe is very brown permanently, looks odd when the bike is fully clean, all black but looking mud on the pipe.
                            Any solutions? 7500kms on ODO.
                            I heard that idling a lot causes it to brown faster.

                              "Forget about the life of your chain if you lube it before first use" is what I got from the service center when I changed my set few weeks back.
                              With a new chain, all you can hear is that sweet valve sound from the engine and nothing more. Makes the ride pleasing!

                              Guys I've heard from many including Joel that this burning oil smell is common with the 200NS. In fact, after maybe 5-6k kms you can find little condensed droplets of engine oil in the air filter box and if unattended will one day accumulate enough to leak out of the box and give you a scare! The service mechanics say it's the air filter oil (but of course we all know NS's paper filter needs no oiling). Happened to me twice.

                              I experienced the very same for the first 1000 kms and was most surprised when the 'per-rpm speed' increased. You'll find 58 km/h at that rpm soon
                              But just in case I'm wrong, check the air pressure in both tyres. And just let us know the sprocket ratio (rear should be 39T, will be written on the sprocket).

                                i have discover 135 sport edition 6 year old and completed 45000km .i am fully satisfied with it's performance no one can beat my discover 135cc sports edition upto 0-100kmph except 150 yamaha r15 ....even pulsar 150 cant match to it i don't know whey in the total 6 year no pulsar or any 150cc bike beat my discover 135...top speed acheived average on road is 100-105kmph easily.it is not going more than 105kmph sitting upright but but but one day there is no wind and i pulled the throttle fully and crouched and the discover 135 crossed 121kmph speed ...i ama really happy.... i think same in the case of pulsar 200ns ..i have covered till 1210km on it and want to check it's top speed..but not able to rip it fully in 5 gear due to traffic.....
