Bike refused to start once at cold engine. When cranking the radiator fan kicked in and was running until I turned the key off.
I'm guessing it should be either wiring harness or the CDI
If your fan is operational continuously, on normal operating temp or right after start up, check two things. Your coolant temperature sensor and fan relay. If your coolant temp sensor is faulty, your fan would be running like there's no tomorrow. The same would be true for a stuck or a faulty relay, where it just keeps on spinning to glory. Get them both inspected first and keep your observations posted.
It has been always my dream to own a pulsar ns200. Now that I own one it has become a nightmare. From the last 3 months I have been facing an issue where randomly anytime the low oil pressure light comes on. The oil level is ok. The light is not having any specific pattern as such. It comes on whenever it wants. It can come on after riding 5-10km or it might not be there even if I ride 100km. Just 5000 km on the odo. The ignorant people in service centre just giving lame excuses like- "The oil is not getting warm enough, the oil might be shifting only to one side, this might be due to potholes as the bike goes into potholes the oil doesn't reach sensor and it shows low oil pressure". I mean What the f**k is this service that bajaj is providing. Anybody else facing same issue? Or can anyone give me a solution for this issue?
Just as other Bhpian mentioned, your oil pressure sensor might be faulty leading to faulty reading on the dashboard. Replace the faulty sensor and see if it solves the issue. Still potholes or bad roads shouldn't cause it to work properly, that itself means it's faulty. Next time the SVC guys say these lame excuses, tell them the joke is on them.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
Same problem here, did you find the solution? I thought my CDI coil is not working and that's why radiator fan is working continuously and so I changed the CDI but the problem still persists, please reply if you find the solution
Can you be a bit more specific. The bike stalls intermittently only when the radiator fan kicks in or irrespective of whether the radiator fan kicks in or not, the bike stalls randomly?

Check your fan relay and make sure your engine coolant temperature sensor is checked. Faulty fan relay or coolant temp sensor will cause such issues.

Hello all, I have booked P200 NS BS6 (white) this week. Is it the best value for money for total onroad budget of 1.6 lacs? Am looking for a 20km daily commute and occasional weekend long drive

Well you can even look at apache 200, take test drives and see which you like better. Apache looks better according to me, has dual channel abs, which is a lot better than the single channel one, and has slipper clutch, and the digital display has lot more features.
In this price range there are many bikes available and even more if you consider the used route.
It's upto you what you prefer, take test drives and then decide but when you consider the bs6 prices, ns is a good bike, very good power, 6th gear, liquid cooled, abs etc.
And if you like faired bikes then there's r15 as well
You can reach out to Amirtham Tyres near to new bus stand or kaveri Tyres (Authorised MRF dealer).
Guess this helps.
Thanks this definitely helps!
One question, will they change the tyre or just give me the tyre and I will have to reach out to a mechanic ? (Asking because in Bangalore that’s what one of the dealer told me, and due to time couldn’t get it changed there)
