[QUOTE=nagoo;1030696]Ideally it should be around 1.5-1.8 , and 2k is not to worry thing, its just adjustment. ask ur service center to lower a bit the idling

    Hi Nagoo,

    Sorry to disturb you again

I had now completed over 900 KM and the bikes seems to be more smooth also the bike programing(ECU Program) was changed at my first servicing.
I have now replaced the stock exhaust with a SOLFER exhuast which was arranged by the service center. Start the bike and people passing by stop to check the sound

Is it fine to carry on with this exhaust ???

    Regards,
    Anand

I have been eyeing the duke 390 for a long time now but then the quality issues n small tank range forced me towards ninja (due to lack of proper nakeds rite now). Untill i came across this beauty...... I am almost set on booking this just wondering if i should check out the 650 naked first as its about 1.5 lacs more ??!!

I would suggest If you are fine with some 5-6/10 kms difference in average then you should go with N650!

INMO no one buys a sports bike or bigger CC thinking of average... it's only Power!!

650CC has lot to give you power packs!! Riding is also little relaxed.

GT650 naked would be the ideal bike as its twin cylinder 72bhp will offer much more power. The upright seating posture will make maneuvering in the city convenient and highway rides will be a BLAST!! Do check the dealers aftersales service offered to customers in your area.

                Hello everyone.
I am getting a kinetic husong comet 250 (naked) one in yellow for about 10 grand, papers are ok, bike dosent run its not run for about a year and starting it was in vain,
                Its carbed...
Now I know parts are impossible to source
Does a husong 250 have da same engine etc? Then sourcing parts would be easier right?

                divyansh....

                  .

How come so cheap bro? I guess either you missed a zero, else that bike has serious issues. Also, I don't think all engine components are swap able (not sure if that's a word ) between the old comet and new ones.

AFAIK Kinetic just brought it in India, its the same Hyosung (S&T) Comet, I have shared the link, and the prices are mentioned in it. E.g : Cylinder Head Ass'y : $575 (plus shipping) that comes to around 34870 INR. If thats cheap then you can go ahead and get the overhauling done.
                        All the best!!

P.S : Comets sell here at range of 1-1.5lc.

what is worrying is that even a ninja is costly but you can find a lot of ninja owners on xbhp whereas for hyosung, not many are present.

                            thanks for your replies....

                            you got a PM.

hyosung needs premium fuel or simple petrol..??

CBR250R should be your most distinguished option considering your journey on daily basis + reliability.

No doubt GT250R is a big butch bike but later you should not be banging your head all because of uninvited issues rising periodically.

Bullet could be a 2nd better alternative but that totally depends as CBR & Bullet involves completely different mindset and physicality.
